The girl screamed. Tanisha and Monica covered their ears.
"Please, don't kill me... " The girl said and fainted.
Everyone came running after hearing the scream.
"What now? " Manav said, entering the room in a hurry.
"What happened? " Manav's mother said, entering the room after Manav.
Soon, they all stepped in the room and found the girl lying on the bed, fainted.
"What happened to her? " Ashwin said, standing beside Manav.
"I don't know, " Tanisha said. "She suddenly started mumbling something. Then she screamed and fainted. "
"Her mental condition does not seem right, " Manav's father said. "She must have gone through a big mental trauma. "
Everyone seemed to agree with him.
"We should let her rest. And we should not try to do anything which could make her remember her past, " Manav said.
They then adjusted her body in a comfortable position and went downstairs. Monica went to washroom.The gents were in the living room beside the stairs.
"Hey, let's see what's airing on the TV, " Manav said, holding the remote in his hand, standing near the sofa where his father, Ashwin's father and Ashwin were sitting.
"What would be there on TV, son? The world is going to end, " His father said.
Manav turned on the TV. The channel was blurred. He changed the channel, it was also blurred.
"It seems the world really is going to end, " Manav said, remote in hand, looking at the TV.
He then opened YouTube in the TV. The TV was one of those modern day LED TVs which have inbuilt Wi-Fi.
"Let's see if any content related to this zombie apocalypse has been uploaded recently. "
His sight fell on a video titled "Truth behind the zombie apocalypse by Dr. Pooniya". He looked at the uploading time, it was just 10 minutes ago. He clicked on it.
"Son, it was just a click bait title, " His father said. "I don't think if you would find anything important in the video. "
The video was buffering.
"Let's see, " Manav said.
The video buffered for few seconds, then started playing.
An old man with silver messy hair, moustache and glasses appeared on the screen. He looked a bit tensed because of the frown on his face. He started speaking.
"Hi everyone, I am Dr. Anjum Pooniya. I am a scientist in War Private Labs, Mumbai. "
Manav looked at his father, then looked at the screen.
"I don't know why but I think this video could give us some valuable information, " He said.
"As you all know, our world is under a serious threat. Humanity could be wiped out totally from this planet, just like dinosaurs, " The scientist continued. "I am not going to take much time and come directly to the point. I know... how to stop this apocalypse... "
Manav and Ashwin looked at each other.
"Yes, you heard it right. I know how to stop this apocalypse. But first, I have to tell you how and when it all started. "
"He just said that he would not take much of our time and now he is explaining things, " Manav's father said. "It's just a click bait video. "
"Baba! We should atleast listen to this, " Manav said, putting his butt on the sidearm of the sofa. "We might get some information. He is a scientist after all. "
"You all know about the border dispute between India and China. Because of that, our Prime Minister instructed us to create a biological weapon which could wipe out an entire country, " The scientist said. "After working day and night, we finally created a virus which could destroy the entire humanity if it gets in wrong hands. We even created the means to stop the virus if in any case, the virus gets leaked or gets out of control. "
Manav again looked at Ashwin. What he guessed was right. It 'is' a biological weapon.
"But we never thought that this virus would be this destructive. It got leaked because of mishandling and infected some people at our lab. I was there... and I can't tell you how horrifying that scene was. Those who were infected started jumping and biting everyone. I somehow took the device which could kill the virus with me and ran from the lab somehow. I wanted to save everyone as soon as it started. But I was late. The building was already crowded with those human eating creatures. I somehow ran away and hid in my house. I still have that device. But let me tell you few things about the zombies first. These creatures are humans whose humanity has been snatched away. They can smell, see and hear. Even mortal wounds affect them. "
Manav already had deduced all this.
"The question is... how to stop these zombies? "
The scientist took out a pen like thing from somewhere which was thicker than a pen.
"This device is our last hope. The main building of War Private Labs in Andheri West of Mumbai has a device setup at the top floor. We have to put this device in that one. Then it will create a sound wave capable of killing the virus. I could have done it myself but cannot go there alone as the building is crowded with the zombies. Manav moved his head looking at everyone.
"We did get some really meaningful information from this video, " He said.
"How do you know that? " His father said.
"He told us just now. "

"We shouldn't believe in these kind of fake videos, which are only a means to get views. "
"You are right. But why would anyone give fake information if the world is really going to end? Besides, he didn't look like he was lying. "

Ashwin and his father were listening to all this.They wanted to stop the quarrel between them but chose not to.
