Chapter 18: Finally Engaged

Nicholas POV

It was the happiest night of my life. Now that we are finally engaged. This is what I have been waiting for. I could see how happy she was too, the spark on her hazel brown eyes and how sincere are those when she replied me with her sweetest Yes while tears pouring down her cheeks. “Did she finally accept me?” I told myself.

She was the most beautiful woman that night, and she is so damn sexy I can’t keep my eyes away from her just like every other men in the room. The gown that I bought for her fitted her body perfectly, her exposed back and smooth skin, I could see men checking up on her, drooling and I couldn’t help myself but smirked. “Oh sorry guys, that woman is mine.” My girl, I don’t know if she is really unaware how men are watching her. She is like an innocent girl who does not care at all. Then I saw her sat down in the bar side, I know she doesn’t drink, and I wonder what she was thinking at that moment. I let Darren watch over her when I saw Cassandra sat beside her. I know that b***h has something to tell her but I didn’t worry too much.

I invited Mirna and her bestfriend Kelly, they are the only family she has and I want them to be part of the party. I know I will make her happier and the twins seeing Mirna. I let them stay in the mansion though her friend Kelly needs to go back to Chicago in two days for work but she promised my girl she will be back soon on our wedding. Mirna will stay until the wedding day and I even offered her if she would like to stay here for good.

My baby is here on my bed sleeping, I told her that she will moved into my bedroom after the engagement, we slept together but I didn’t touch her as much as I wanted too, I knew she was not ready but we make out last night and goodness I could kiss her all night.

Ara’s POV

I woke up in the sunlight that’s shining through the window; Nicholas is maybe taking a shower since I heard water dripping on the bathroom floor. Then the memory of last night flashes back. We were making out here on his bed, and I devoured myself into that kisses, I don’t know when I started feeling comfortable with him, I was waiting for his next move I think I am ready, but he didn’t do anything we just kissed. Honestly I felt disappointed, but that behaviour of him made me think that this monster really do respect me and that melted my heart. Maybe that’s it! I am beginning to like the monster or should I say, I am starting to fall for him. Starting? I think I did way more before; it’s just that I didn’t want to accept that I fall for him already.

Aside from it, I didn’t know where all the jealousy came from, those women last night who touched him; they were all getting into my nerves. Duh!

This guy, maybe he is not that really monster, he made me happy last night for bringing Mirna and Kelly to that party. They are my only family and he made my babies super happy too. They are calling Nicholas daddy and no more Uncle Nick.

“What are you thinking baby?” He walks out the bathroom with only towel wrap his waist and I blushed, he chuckles and said. “You’re so cute babe.” I think he enjoys teasing me while he is wiping hi wet hair with another towel but his eyes not leaving mine. “Do you have any plans today?” He added, and walks towards the wardrobe.

“Can I go out with Kelly? Like can we go to the club?” Today is the last day of Kelly here in London, she needs to go back to Chicago tomorrow and since Kelly is party girl she asked me if we could go clubbing tonight and explore the City.

“Do you think I will let you after I have seen you last night?”

“Why? What did I do?”

“You were drunken last night baby.” He told me with a low tone while wearing his pants.

“No I am not, I just had two glasses, maybe a little tipsy???” He chuckles with that idea of mine.

“That’s the point baby, you just had two glasses and that’s not even a hard drink.”

“Oh please, it’s Kelly’s last day and I promised her to spend the rest of the day with her.” He stands in front of me with an arch brow and hands both on his waist and sigh.

“Okay, but you will not drink Ara. You know everyone can take advantage of you. You will not go without your bodyguards either.” I sigh and replied.

“Okay I will.” Though my mind wanted to protest.

“Nobody dares to touch what’s mine.” He cups my cheeks with his big hands and crashes his lips on mine.

“I love you.” He whispers my ear and I just close my eyes replying to his kisses.
