Nora's POV
A heavy splash of water thrown on my face woke me up from sleep. Slowly, I opened my eyes and realized my vision was blurred, which caused me to blink repeatedly before I could fully see who was before me.
“Eat.” He shoved a plate of rice at me with his feet. With a gulp, I stared at the plate of food before looking at the man who was appointed to guard my room. Judging from the glimpse of light I saw, I realized it was a new day, which meant I had spent three days locked up in this room without food and water.
Several times, I tried making mind links with Alpha Leo or Lord Maddison, but it was useless. I couldn't connect with either of them or my wolf. My whole body ached, and my stomach was rumbling loudly due to hunger, but I didn't have an appetite to eat.
