Cassy's P.O.V
"Where are we going ?" I asked Nathan as he turned to another cut.
"Somewhere" he said. Great answer. I just kept quiet and thought about everything that has been happening. I really don't know why he was just being so nice. I mean.... God this was like the best day of my life.... well aside from when dirty water splashed on me. We reached a park that I did not know existed. It was not much but it was peaceful. Some kids were running around but there was not much noise... everything was just okay.
"I like the place. I don't know why bu-" I stopped myself.
"But what? Just say it" Nathan says
"It feels like I've been here before" I tell him truthfully and he stared at me, looking shocked?
"Nathan?"
"What? Huh?"
"I said I feel like I've been here before"
"Of course you would" he smirked and I rolled my eyes. Classic Nathan.
"So why'd you bring me here?" I asked.
"I don't know" he replied.
"I really missed you ... I always thought how it would be if we were ever together..." I said before I could register what I just said. He turned to look at me and I could see a little bit of longing in his eyes but almost immediately, it was gone and he burst into laughter.
"What's funny?" I asked confused.
"You were wondering if something would happen between us?" He started laughing making me hurt..
"Yeah... so? I can't ?!" I said angrily.
"Yes you can't. Nothing can and ever will happen between us. Look at you and look at me.... no way. God, you are so funny." He stood up and started leaving. I was shocked. What was happening? No it couldn't end like this. I ran up to meet up with him.
"No Nathan, you can't do this. After telling me about your dead ex girlfriend." I said before I could stop myself. He stopped walking but didn't turn back. He didn't say anything, just continued walking. I knew he was dead ass mad right now.
"I'm sorry." I said. No answer. He just continued walking.
"Nathan I'm sorry." I said again.. still no answer. We reached the parking lot and he entered the car and as I was about to enter, he locked all the doors automatically. No.
"Nathan. Nathan. Nathan." I hit the window and he just looked at me, anger in his eyes and he drove off. He drove off. He left me and from there on, anything I felt for Nathaniel Kings had gone. Hate had replaced it. I hated him. I hated Nathaniel Kings and no one could change it.
