"Finally, I have found you!" The guy in black exclaimed. "Come, you must return to the academy my beautiful Saphire."

Wait, Saphire... No he couldn't be talking about Her, my twin sister. No absolutely not, she's dead.

"Look mister I don't know who you are, or what you want, but I am not Saphire. I'm Violet." I tried to sound as confident as possible but he, obviously, didn't believe me.

***

I have always wanted to be loved like my parents loved each other up until my mother's last breath.

To be mistaken as Saphire, my dead twin sister, by her supposed to be lover was not what I had in mind.

Follow along on Violets journey of love, hate and discovery.

Chapter 1
Violet's P.O.V. *** From a very young age I have known that I wanted someone that would love me like my parents loved each other. I wanted the small kisses that they used to share when they got home from a long day at work. I wanted the secret little notes that they would leave for the others to find. I wanted what my parents had before my mother died.  *** "Violet, get down here now!" My father yelled from downstairs. I knew that whatever he was about to say or do would not be good, he never used my real name.  " Coming father." I yelled back. For some reason, I was hoping that he would be nice to me for once in my life. After my mother died, my father lost all of the love he had for me. Sometimes I think that he only showed love to me as a child because of my mother.  I ran down the stairs from the attic, to my bedroom, as fast as I could. I didn't want to anger him if he was in a good mood or make his mood worse if he was in a bad one.  Instead of getting a hello or good morning like normal people get from their father, all I got was:"What took you so long girl?"  "Sorry father, I tried to be as fast as I could be." I answered in a small and quiet voice.  "I don't care. My new wife will be here in a few days and I want you gone. I will have no time for you in my life after she gets here." His voice was cold. At that moment, I knew that my father had no love for me in his heart.  I walked to my room without another word. I packed everything that I thought of as valuable; the earrings that my mother left me and the little clothes that I had. Even though I had a well-paying job, I didn't have any money. My dad usually took everything that I made in a week as compensation for looking after and raising me.  Once everything was packed, I took my backpack and left. I didn't look back.  I looked down at my watch and saw that my shift at work, a small club in the middle of my home town, Red Rivers, wouldn't start for another two hours.  'Looks like I have time to kill', I thought to myself.  As I walked through the small town that I lived in, I saw about three 'HELP WANTED' signs. I decided that after my shift I would go to those stores to ask if they still wanted or needed someone to work for them. I will need all of the work, money, that I can get now that I don't have a roof over my head anymore.  Lucky for me, today was Friday, which means that I get paid today. If I didn't know any better, Lady would think that I had Lady Luck in her corner. Luckily, I knew better.  Once I actually reached the club, I only had about half an hour left before I actually needed to be there.  I entered the club and the first person that I saw was one of my fellow bartenders, Alice. She was crying and didn't look too good.  I walked towards her wanting to find out what had happened. She noticed me almost instantly and she did not look happy to see me at all. "You! You are the reason for this! I knew that you didn't like me, I knew from day one that you would get me fired." She yelled so loud that everyone in the club was looking at her, some were angry that an employee had disrupted their peace, if you could even call it that. Others looked excited at the opportunity to see some drama that wasn't about their own friends and/or family.  One of the club's guards heard the commotion and started walking over to us. Most of the club's guards were big and muscular, but this one was more normal sized so that he could blend into the crowd more.  "You know I knew that you didn't remember me at first, but really it's been six months, how long can it take for someone to remember the kid they used to bully in high school?" Her question didn't really sound like a question. It sounded a lot more like the rant of a crazy person.  " What the hell are you talking about? We didn't go to high school together. I was homeschooled. " I wasn't as loud as she was, but everyone could still hear me.  She stared at me with disbelief. Just as she was about to reply, the guard took her by the arm and started dragging her out of the club. She didn't go. She quickly kicked and screamed the whole way to the door and was probably still screaming outside as well.  Some people still stared at me after Alice was thrown out, but most of them went back to minding their own business.  I nodded my head and went to the back of the club to get my uniform, black jeans, a white button-up and a blazer. Today I decided that I wanted to put on my blue blazer because it matched my sneakers. Once I was behind the bar and ready to begin my shift, ten minutes early, I was swarmed by the customers. They weren't happy with the fact that they had to wait for a new bartender. After about an hour or so, I was on top of all of the orders and could actually start to relax a little bit. I thank whatever God's are out there that we don't have any special, 'VIP', customers tonight. I am the only bartender tonight and they usually get their very own, which we don't have. I thought that a guy in all black had walked through the entrance. Me and my thoughts should really shut up. He made his way to the bar almost immediately and just by looking at him I knew he meant business. The moment that he stopped in front of me he started talking; "Finally, I have found you!" He exclaimed. This guy is crazy. "Come, you must return to the academy my beautiful Saphire." A correction, this guy needs to be sent to a mental hospital. Wait, Saphire... No he couldn't be talking about HER, my twin sister. No, absolutely not, she's dead. "Look mister, I don't know who you are or what you want, but I am not Saphire, I am Violet." I tried to sound as confident as possible but he, obviously, didn't believe me.
