Nolan relaxed back into the pillows to run the conversation he had just had through his sharp mind whilst it was still fresh. The caller had been Linus Collins, an attorney from somewhere in Europe; Nolan hadn’t yet been fully awake when that formality had been hurried through. Collins was the legal counsel for a large party class action suit that was listing Nolan Ibis’s client as the defendant. He had made the call to Nolan as a courtesy before the briefing arrived via fax. Nolan sighed heavily as he heaved himself out of the warm and comfortable bed. His fax machine was whirring away, currently printing the cover sheet and first page of the message that Collins had sent.
