Carson Point of view
I fell asleep right after my thoughts came to an end, as I wanted to wake up early. I had a lot to plan to win Lilith’s heart, and the sooner I start, the sooner I have her in my arms.
I woke up from the loud alarm but like usual I didn’t groan or rollover my bed. I instantly sat up, checked my phone, and saw it was five in the morning; way too early for anyone to be up in the packhouse.
Without much thought, I dialed Tyler’s number and waited for him to pick it up. He didn’t pick up at first and I redialed again while hoping he picks up or I would have to bang his door to wake him up.
“What the f*ck do you want at five in the morning, Woods?” I heard Tyler’s voice on the other end, but something was different about his voice.
