Though I was quite taken aback, I just chose to answer him.
“May tumawag kasi sa akin, parang ang rude naman kung sa loob ko sasagutin.” I said in a soft voice. For a moment, his shoulders stiffen, then I saw him shut his eyes for a moment, then when he opened them, his expression was entirely different. He looked so…vulnerable.
