Serene's POV
I entered the dungeons which smelled like rotten corpse and dead mice, i pushed my way through the stench to the cell the vampire was being held in. "leave" i told the guard and he nodded and left. the vampire looked at me and tears pooled down his face "you're alive" he said and idont know why but i felt concern towrds the boy, he looked barely over 15 when i was 17 myself. "yes, yes i am, what happened?" i asked softly, "t-the silver crest pack where you were born, y-your father said you were dead and thats what e-everyone beilieved" he said tears still rolling down his cheek and i felt extreme rage towards the f*****g sperm donor, if he wasnt my blood relative i woukd have killed him by now but i had better morals, "so?" i asked the scared by calmy "we heard that a your coven started following another leader so we were enraged and attacked by h-how could they replace our future queen, y-you were supposed to take place after queen carla but when we heard that you were dead and some rougues killed carla and from that day the coven loyal to carla started following an unknown vampire we wanted to wipe them out for their disloyalty" he said sobbing i opened the cage and sat beside him, i had a feeling he wasnt lying. i tried to comfort him "how many vampires are out there?" i asked him "thousands" my eyes widened "please your majesty they need to know you live" he pleaded, 'looks like its time to be known' kris said 'yes' alyssa agreed 'ok we will do it today' I could see both of them nodding. "will they still follow me?" i asked the boy "to the gates of hell" he replied and i smiled, i knew he wasnt telling a lie, lets say my sensations are nver wrong, which was a good and bad thing. "whats your name?" i asked "dylan" he said quietly. "why are the vampires working with rogues? and are there actual lone vampires also?" i asked and something told me i wasnt gonna like the answer. "the rogues convinced us to get revenge against you as you killed their alpha and yes there are lone vampires who are evil and worked with the rogues from long before they found us", he said "well the alpha was a douche" i shrugged and we both started laughing. "so how many enemies i have out there?" I asked "once you make your presence known one third is depleted because my coven will always seek their queen first." he showed me the mark of my coven the nightwalkers, the biggest coven being closest to royalty, i nodded 'how did we not see that before' kris asked 'we were busy and we recently have a lot of pressure to deal with so chill' i explained and we both sighed. "i will send some vampires to help you out and wait" i closed my eyes focusing on forming a link with dylan and it was quite easy since he was already from the same coven. 'is the fight over' i asked the warrior who had linked me earlier. 'long ago alpha' he replied 'alright' was my only reply. I established the link and looked at dylan whose eyes widen from the sudden noices and he visibly relaxed after what i am guessing the voices died down, "explain the whole situation to thhem through the link and also contact your side and explain, i trusting you on this dylan do not disappoint me"i said and saw his face light up causing me to smile, "I wont your majesty" he said "i will send somone to guide you to your chamber", he smiled and nodded. I cant believe i have a whole big coven who is pledging their loyalty to me. 'how are we supposed to handle so much?' i asked alyssa and kris 'lets go for a run and check around the perimeters' they both suggeste and i chuckeld as i made my way out of the smelly and dark dungeon. 'sure' I said before shifting into a black wolf with one white and one red eyes giving those two control and ran til reached the border, I knew the outline of my pack like the back of my hand. we ran as the breeze brushed against our fur and paws thus slowly into the soft soil. I saw the wolf warriors walking around chatting but on alert at the same time as they turned to examine the presence 'its me' I said and they bowed 'alpha' I nodded and sped further my borders and reached to see the vampires as they turned and turned to acknowledge my presence 'queen' I nodded and everyone repeated the actions. the thing that bothered me was that they were grouped as vampire with vampire and wolf with wolf but I wanted them to work together which is going to be tough work. I had drained my adrenaline after running along the huge perimeters, 'gosh I never knew we owned that big of a territory' I said 'oh honey did you forget you are going to expand more tonight' kris reminded me 'great' I whined. 'lets head back before we lose all our energy' I said 'all three of us know that aint happening anytime soon especially with the anger you still hold' I sighed as I knew Alyssa was right. 'but still lets head back and check on the preparation for tonight.' I tried to reason, they groaned but started heading back to the pack house where the ceremony was going to be held. 'oh alpha I forgot to mention that my son Damien will be stepping up today as I give place up to him now' jakson said 'wtf alpha you should've told before I need to call the priest, oh and you should have warned me about you spreading the news of me being dead' I said as anger bubbled again but I suppressed it 'thats what we were lead to believe when you didnt return to us' he said 'and of course you still dont want me father' I said putting extra emphasis on the word father, 'Serene its not like that we thought you would have forgiven us for what we did' he said 'forgiving you for what, the fact that you pushed me to try suicide and escape or or the fact that I was raped after I ran away, FOR HOW MANY THINGS DO I FORGIVE YOU FOR? FOR BEATING THE s**t OUT OF ME? FOR NOT BEING THERE WHEN I FIRST SHIFTED INTO MY HYBRID FORM OR FOR NEVER TELLING ME I HAD OLDER BROTHERS, OR FOR THE FACT YOU TOLD THEM I DIED IN A f*****g ACCIDENT?' till the time I finished I could feel tears streaming down my 'for how many thing father?HOW MANY?' I shrieked unable to stop the tears streaming down like waterfall.
