Serene's POV  I was in middle of throwing a hissy fit because Harry was making me transfer to another school as the previous one got burned after a rogue attack yesterday and the reason was me and some other wolves trying to capture the rogues in the building. "why cant I be homeschooled till the time the damage is repaired?"I whined "because love, I cant trap a free spirit like you in the house so you along with you friend here Zack are going to Northshore High" he said in monotone. "ughhhh" I groaned and grabbed zackby the arm and stormed off to my room seeing Zack giving Harry the 'its ok' look. I as soon as I shut the door I started ranting to Zack and if you are wondering who Zack is let me make it clear, he is my best friend, he and Harry are the only ones that have seen my emotions, to others I am an emotionless b***h cuz I am the best fighter and I kill without remorse, o yes I was a cold blooded killer but thats what happens when you arent accepted by your family for being who you are. As I finished ranting I looked up to see Zack made himself comfortable on my bed and patted his side. I slid in the warm quilt as I lay my head on his chest, tears that I had been spilled on his shirt as he rubbed my back smoothly whispering 'its ok', I lay there like that before speaking "what if I find my mate there and he doesn't want me?" I said weakly "what if I find him a-and he w-w-wants me?, what am I gonna do?" I struggled to get the words out of my mouth. "hey, shh its all gonna be ok, mates are supposed to love you not hate you so you will find another person to love besides me and Harry, another person to show that you feel and you are strong enough to have went through so many things at such a young age, and maybe reveal who you truly are." he said making me sigh "what if he rejects me BECAUSE of who I am?, I dont think anyone would want a hybrid of vampire and lycan being their mate" I said "Selene, I have told you a thousand times, there have not been many like you and thus, we wouldnt know anyone's reaction until you dont tell them, you're cool and rare along with being very precious" I let his words ring in my head as I drifted into slumber, all I could do now was tend the damn school and risk everything of being emotionless, I have worked so hard for.
