Serene's POV

We entered the school as a smell hit me 'mate' my wolf Alyssa said. we quickly masked our scents. I know all the wolves wanted their mate even if their human doesn't but lucky for me Alyssa and I are always on the same page. it was very hard for us trust people and I had gut feeling that something would hurt me real soon and unfortunately my gut feelings were always right. Zack and I were very close and when he said he liked me we decide on taking things slow I thought as the sweet memories floated into my as I walked in the class. I sensed a few of my pack members in the as Zack came and sat beside me, Harry had made sure that we have all the same classes like previous school. I put my head on his shoulders as I said "he is here" almost so quietly I doubted he would hear but due to our enhanced senses and looked at me, "you leaving me?" he asked very silently as I lifted my head and made him look into my eyes, "never" I said as he smiled and I returned the gesture quick enough to not let anyone see but him. I looked towards the door and the smell hit me again as I became angry seeing he was the alpha of the bloodstone pack Caspian. The one and only responsible for me being emotionless. 'why moon goddess what have I done to deserve this?' I thought as I felt disgusted of him being my mate, a mate who was supposed to love me. ugh 

the class finally finished as I made my way out, Zack hot on my trail. I told him to meet by my locker and then we can head to another class. he left me as took the books and waited, I waited for long before making my way to his locker seeing him making out with another girl. I tear ran down my cheek and I sob escaped my mouth turning his attention to me. He looked at me guiltily as he said "Serena meet Naomi my mate."he looked at her lovingly. I controlled myself before nodding at them and bolting off to my class. I sat in a corner next to a member of bloodstone pack knowing won't be coming anywhere near me if I did that and honestly I needed to be alone right now. "move" I heard someone say to the person sitting beside me and looked up at the person to see it was none other that Caspian and he effortlessly sat there and I just turned my head to look out the window. 'he cant possibly know I am his mate, I have masked my scent very well' I pondered as the class began an I paid no attention knowing what I had t answer to being the alpha of my pack the black moon pack, bloodstone pack was the strongest and the only pack that could give competition to them was my pack and I was the next in line and Harry was more than ready to step down but I had told him to wait as I was not ready to leave Zack but I guess I dont have a reason to wait anymore.
