Explaining

Serene's POV

I changed into a baggy black t-shirt knotting it in the bottom and beige slacks putting my hair into a messy bun, 'we need to explain everything for their own safety' kris said obviously sensing my distress 'what if they think I am a freak?' I asked 'they wont trust me, we felt their respect towards us, we are powerful and have defended our pack without casualties for like thousands of times so quit worrying' kris scolded  'fine lets just get over with this' I replied and made my way to the backyard where the ceremony was held. when they finally sensed my presence I was surrounded by curious looks I sighed and made my way to the stage type thing where Jackson, Mary, Harry, Ace, Caspian, Damon, Damien, Cole, Zack, Tim were standing after changing their clothes. I kept my game face on, they cant see any weakness "I know all of you have many questions, so do I but let the people up here start please" I said in a monotone followed by a chorus of yes's and sure's, I turned to look at them my back facing the people but I knew each stare buried in there. "go ahead"  motioned at them, Jackson was the first one to speak up "sorry, we didnt tell you, we didnt know whose child you were but you weren't ours" I just laughed a sick laugh in return "no wonder, dear parents, you never treated me like your own now did you?" I replied. "what choice did you leave us when you were being a brat" Mary sneered, "ahh dear mother, since when is eating a f*****g crime?!" I trying hard not rip her head off, just for the sake of my brothers, speaking of them I looked at them since they had no idea about their sister still being alive and boy were they shocked, I looked back at the people I was talking to and saw Mary's and Jackson's face pale, I was confused but then I realised my eyes must be splitting, I looked behind them on the container where the members pledged loyalty and saw one eye splitting my original black and kris's red, and the other eye splitting Alyssa's white and my witch glowing purple. I never understood why kris's eyes were red and my original ones black, vampires usually had black eyes when they were losing control but never did they have red. I closed my eyes pushing all of them back maintaining my calm with deep breaths. "a monster cannot be my mate" Caspian said and everyone heard it and gasped, I stood there emotionless, "this doesn't affect our alliance but , I alpha Caspian of bloodstone pack reject alpha Serene as mate and luna of my pack" he finished and I flinched at the pain which he sat on his knees clutching his heart with pain, tears rolled down my eyes, but I dint give in to my pain, my face full of pain, everyone from my pack and his pack could feel and my pack howled but I raised my hand "dont" I uttered with difficulty but they stopped and Cole was beside me, helping me stay on my feet. his pack was radiating sorrow and shame for....their own alpha. "sorry alpha" the beta told me tears rolling down his eyes and I gave him a small smile. 'Alyssa?' I called for her and she howled pain evident in it, 'I am sorry' I said and she howled again 'this isn't our fault, its his and he is gonna pay' she said and kris agreed and the pain started to dissipate slowly, 'h-how?' I asked them, 'accept his rejection, and the pain will go away completely' kris replied through gritted teeth she hated being put second or not having what she wants, "I alpha Serene accept your rejection" I said and the pain vanished but he growled I guess only my pain went away. "I know its not a very suitable time to ask but..." Damien trailed off "are the sister mother and father said was dead?" Damon completed, I nodded and surprise, hate, anger and love flashed on their faces. I held out my hands and they jumped in them, this was the best thing that happened the whole night after ace and my original mother's appearances I felt warm in their protective embrace but we pulled away and they looked at Jackson and Mary and they visibly gulped when Damien growled and Damon hissed, "why?" Damien asked, "because she is a hybrid, no a tribrid" Mary said with distaste "we could also have been a hybrid because YOU are a vampire, would you have done the same thing?" Damon sneered, "n-no but she wasnt MINE" she shouted "thank god she ran away rather than being with monsters like YOU" Damien said pointing at his parents. I put hand on both of their shoulders and they calmed down, "this, all of this is happening because of YOU" Mary shrieked heading to hold my neck but before anyone could do anything, I flicked my wrists and the ground was awake beneath her and she was captured in vines in seconds and everyone was shocked and I knew my eyes were glowing purple, "DO NOT TEST MY PATIENCE" I said and closed my fists and she was strangled, I opened my fists and she fell to the ground the vines disappearing and I closed my eyes to regain control. she was panting like a mad woman, "dont blame your mistakes on others just because your heart is too small to accept all the guilt" I said through gritted teeth "and also the fact that I wont hesitate to kill you in a flick of a finger, consider yourself alive because of them" I said pointing towards the pack and my brothers. "questions?" I asked the pack members, but they only bowed in return, all of the packs and I smiled 'our ex-mate is the only doofus' Alyssa said, I stifled a laughter. I felt Cole and Tim on either sides, I turned back to look at harry and ace and the only emotion they had was pride and love, I smiled and hugged them, "everyone, like mother said the witches would be arriving in a few days so we need another house, I am sorry to ask this of you but please look to it, Zack, look after it" he nodded and his mate gave me a glare, "and please tell your mate to keep her eyes to herself, I dont tolerate disrespect" I glared back and she looked down and some ack members laughed, they never liked her, what was her name again ahh Leah, after all she was the pack slut, eh who cares. 'after everything, there is still one thing we dont know and its bugging me' Alyssa said 'what?' I asked confused 'who is our father?' she asked and m mind went blank.
