9 Ryan stretched his arms high into the air and fought back a yawn. He hadn’t slept well at all after what had happened with Max the night before, and he was feeling it something fierce. He’d already sucked down a super sized mug of coffee by the time the sun had finished rising and it hadn’t seemed to make much difference. Coupled with the fact that he felt like the biggest asshole in the world for lying to Tim and having Max tell him about it, the day hadn’t exactly gotten off to a good start. Give it up, Ryan, he thought. Beating yourself up over something like this isn’t going to make it any better. Sighing, he stood from the kitchen table and went to the counter to refill his mug from the thermos he’d filled over an hour ago. The scent of the steaming coffee filling his nostrils too
