As it was dawn, Lucas woke up to a new day he freshened up and went to his room and found the nurse assigned to look after her still doing her job.
"Good morning Mr McCain" the nurse greeted as soon as felt someone was in the room
"Morning" Lucas managed to say and then he asked
"How is she are there changes?"
"She's still the same sir, no difference." the nurse sadly said
"Okay" Lucas said with a sulking voice
Thirty minutes later, Christy woke up she came into the room Mia was laid expecting it would be empty or least the nurse would be there but to her surprise Lucas was there again holding Mia's hands so tightly. She shook her head, sighed and then decided to go make breakfast for them both since Lucas wasn't in the right frame of mind or thinking straight.
