Pregnant At Sixteen

Chapter Sixteen

"Dani, you good?" James Grace son asked Dani as he walked into her bathroom. Dani looked up and flush the toilet. She stood up and grabbed her face cloth and wiped her mouth.

"Yes, I'm fine, just morning sickness," Dani said as she grabbed her toothbrush.

"Well ok, I was told to come to get you we're about leave," James said smiling at her. Dani smiled and nodded her head as she brushed her teeth. He walked out of her bathroom and her room. Once Dani was done brushing her teeth she walked out the bathroom. She grabbed her purse and walked out of her room.

"Come on Dani we have to get there before the good seats are taking, I made you a breakfast burrito," Grace said handing Dani the burrito. They all rushed to the door only to be stopped by Mason.

"Mason when? How? Wait why didn't you call me?" Dani asked looking at him. Julian and everyone looked at Dani and Mason.

"Dani do you want to stay and talk to him?" Julian asked looking at her. Dani sallow the lump in her throat and nodded her head. They all smiled and walked to the car.

"Come on its freezing out here," Mason said to Dani. They walked back into the house and to the living room. Mason grabbed Dani and hugged her tight. He missed her like hell. Sitting in that jail made him mad and sad. He misses two weeks of his girl pregnancy.

"Why didn't you call me?" Dani asked as they sat down. She was happy to see Mason. Two weeks was long to her. She didn't understand why that girl Ciara went through all of that.

"I just got released this morning, I had to go shower before I came to see you and the baby, how is he?" Mason asked rubbing Dani Stomach. She wasn't showing but she had a pudge. It was forming.

"We don't know what it is yet and we're fine happy to see you, what's going on now?" Dani asked finishing her burrito.

"They dropped it they actually sending her to the nuthouse because she crazy, literally they had to get someone to run a brain test on her. I guess somethings not right in her head." Mason said laughing a Lil. He mad as hell they kept him in jail for two weeks though.

"That's was better than putting her back on the streets I'm glad you're back though, I missed you," Dani said hugging Mason. He smiled and hugged back.

"I missed you too, don't worry I'm not going nowhere else not without you anyway," Mason said as they held each other. Those were longer than two weeks of their lives.

"I know your nana was happy I was checking on her while you were gone," Dani said as they pull apart.

"She told me she said y'all becoming close she thinking about turning one of the rooms in the house into a nursery," Mason said smiling. Dani smiled too.

"A baby, still shocked that I'm pregnant," Dani said touching her stomach. Mason touch the hand that touches her stomach and looked at her.

"Well believe it, you look happier too," Mason said smiling at her.

"Yea I guess I'm in the Christmas spirit, we were all supposed to go get a tree after the play but I guess I'll spend the day with you,"  Dani said smiling at Mason. She was happier now that her man and baby father was back where he supposed to be.

"You still can go, we can go meet them," Mason said as he rubbing her belly.

"No I'm not really up for the cold weather, I didn't want to go from the jump," Dani said getting comfortable.

"You just don't want to get up right now," Mason said grabbing the remote.

"You so right, could you go make us some hot chocolate and grab the sugar cookies on your way back to the living room," Dani said grabbing the remote and turning on This Christmas. Mason looked at her. He stood up and grab the remote out of her hand and pulled her up.

"What are you doing, I was comfortable and you making me miss my movie," Dani said as he pulled her to the kitchen.

"We about to make hot chocolate together and talk, I missed you," Mason said as they got to the kitchen. He went to the cabinet and grabbed two mugs and Dani grabbed the hot chocolate. She grabbed a pot and put someone in it putting it on the stove.

"So the last week of school what happens, something important I need to know, I know I'm going have to take all my classes over," Mason said sighing. Hated that he misses school. That means he was going to be in Saturday school or summer school trying to make up for what he missed.

"Just finals, somethings you going have to makeup but you already know that have you talked to your parents?" Dani asked popping a marshmallow in her mouth.

"No I haven't and I don't plan on it either, the only person I talked to before going on is Chloe and she said should come down with her husband and Chanel," Mason said grabbing the pot.

"Aww that's great I can now meet them in person," Dani said looking at Mason to make their hot chocolate. He handed Dani her mug and she starts sipping on it. This is so warm and cozy. Dani said smiling.

"Come on we can go watch the movie until your dad them get back with the tree, I told my grandma I would spend the day with you anyway," Mason said helping Dani up. They walked back to the living room with the sugar cookies and their coco.

"Aww look at them, I have to get a picture," Grace said pulling out her camera. She took a picture of Dani and Mason to cuddle up on the couch asleep.

"Mom gives it a rest for today you been taking pictures all day lonnnnggggg." James said. Grace looked at him and he smiled. "I love you." He said kissing her cheek.

"Whatever, Dani and Mason get up we're home," Grace said shaking the two. They open their eyes and looked around.

"Oh my I didn't realize we fell asleep," Dani said getting up off of Mason. He sat up and stretched. 

"Hey." He said smiling at everyone. They smiled and spoke. "Well guess I'll get going, I'll see you later Dani," Mason said hugging and kissing her cheek. He grabbed his shoes and got up walking out the living room.

"Mason wait." He heard. He turns around and saw Devon.

"Yeah man look I'll be by the trap tomorrow I know I gotta get back out there," Mason said trying not to make no trouble.

"Naw man you good take your time them other boys got it I just want to say I'm sorry for the way I treated you and Dani when we found out she was pregnant, I was just being a big brother you know how it is," Devon said rubbing the back of his neck. Mason dapped him.

"Yea I know how it is, be easy man I'll see y'all later," Mason said walking out the house. Wow, Devon apologizes. Mason thought as he got in his car. That's was shocking. He started it and pulled off heading home. He was still sleepy.
