Chapter Fifteen

"How did it go?"Dashona asked Dani as they stood at their locker. Dani looked at her.

"A regular doctor visit, we got to hear the baby heartbeat, strong," Dani said smiling. Dashona hugged her. Dani hugged back.

"I'm so happy, and you should be too Dani, it doesn't matter the age you are a baby is a blessing," Dashona said as they pulled apart. Dani nodded her head.

"I am happy, hearing my baby heartbeat today made me realize that," Dani said smiling. She didn't even have the pictures Mason did. Keeping them in his pocket until they go buy a photo album. Dani didn't know why he wanted them in his pocket.

"That's what I'm talking about, your brother and dad still acting up?" Dashona asked as she pulled out some cookies. Dani looked at her.

"Girl my brother hasn't even been by the house since he found out, I call and get voicemail, I text and get no reply, now my dad on the other hand buying and trying to get a baby room ready," Dani said rolling her eyes. Dashona laughed.

"I guess Grace gave him some act right." Dani laughed and shook her head.

"I don't know what got into him but I'm glad he accepting the fact that I am pregnant with his grandchild, I just wish Devon will stop acting like a female," Dani said sighing. She misses talking and being able to go see her brother. She hated it when they weren't talking. It hurt her.

"He'll get over it Dani don't worry he just has to accept the fact that you're not that Lil girl anymore," Dashona said texting Hanna back. Dani saw Mason coming towards her with some girl behind him cursing him out. He turns around and said something to her and he turns back around and walked toward Dani.

"Hey, baby, how you feeling?" He said trying to kiss her but Dani moved her face. Mason sigh and looked at her. "What I do now?" Dani looked up at him and looked at Ciara. Mason turned around and saw her standing there.

"You the one he supposedly got pregnant well b***h he got two kids," Ciara said looking at Dani. Mason shook his head.

"Watch who you call b***h girl, DNA tests don't lie Ciara the child, not mines so please leave," Mason said through gritted teeth. Ciara was making him mad. Still trying to pin her baby on him. She only did it because she knows Mason will never let a child be fatherless but he have a child on the way which he knows is his.

Dani just stood there she didn't have the time or energy to argue with some money-hungry a*s hoe. Ciara scoffed and walked away. Mason turned to Dani and she shook her head.

"If she didn't walk away I was two seconds from making her go into early labor, when did she start going here anyway?" Dashona asked to annoy. Ciara just messed up everybody damn vibe.

"I don't know girl-crazy, Dani talks to me, tell me what's wrong?" Mason said lifting her head. Dani just removed it from his hand and walked away. "Now I gotta fix this s**t, can't have her under stress," Mason said looking at his girl walk away mad. Dashona looked up at him.

"She'll be over it by the end of the day, don't worry hormones getting to her," Dashona said smiling and walking away. Mason shook his head and saw Kane walking up to him.

"Bruh that girl Ciara in the office telling the principal you r***d and got her pregnant," Kane said shaking his head. Mason's eyes widened.

"You lying," Mason said looking at him. Kane looked at him.

"Nigga why would I lie about something like that you better call your grandma because I just heard the police on the way." Mason sigh and pulled out his phone. He unlocked it and went to his house phone number.

"Mason Collins please report to the office immediately." They heard over the intercom.

"Man that girl going get what's coming to her I swear," Mason said calling his grandmother. He walked to the office and saw polices everywhere. Luckily he didn't have any drugs on him today.

"She did what!" Dani yelled out. Mason looked at her and she blew out a breath.

"Dani you have to promise you won't do anything," Mason said grabbing her.

"And risk our baby left I wouldn't dare," Dani said looking at him. Mason kissed her lips and smiled at her.

"It'll be over soon hopefully, that girl crazy man, DNA says the baby not mines and she making false reports and s**t," Mason said getting mad all over again. All they did was take each other off their statements. He just couldn't believe that Ciara will go that far.

"I'm hungry," Dani said grabbing her ringing phone. She saw it was Grace calling her. She picked it up. Hello... No at Mason's house...... Ok, I'll be there in 10... Dani said hanging up the phone.

"Gotta go report home?" Mason asked making fun of her dad's ways. Dani looked at him.

"Yes I do, the funny thing is my dad not even there he went out of town this morning," Dani said getting up and sliding on her shoes. Mason stood up and Dani looked up at him. "I hate that your 6'4 and I'm only 5'6," Dani said. Mason laughed and kissed her lips.

"I like Em short and thick, I'll see you later, make sure you eat Dani." He said pulling away from her. Dani smiled and grabbed her bag.

"Yea yea." She said walking out his room. She walked downstairs and out the door to her car.  She got in started it and pulling off. She wondered what Grace wanted with her.

Dani pulled up at the house and saw her brother's car parked outside. Wow, Grace done set me up. Dani thought as she got out her car. She walked to the door and open it. She walked in and to the living room. She saw Nia, Grace, and Devon sitting on the couch. Grace looked back and smiled.

"Come on Nia, let's these two talks, and I mean talk," Grace said as she and Nia got up and walked out of the living room. Dani sat down and looked at Devon who stared at her. 

"I'm sorry!" They both blurted out. They laughed and got up and hugged each other.

"I'm really am sorry Dani, I should've been your backbone and not your enemy, it just the fact that my 16-year-old sister is pregnant, it broke my heart because I thought I could trust you and Mason, I thought y'all would at least wait," Devon said looking at Dani. Dani wiped her tears.

"Yea it was just in the moment thing, it happens so quick," Dani said thinking about that night like it was yesterday.

"Well the fact that you're pregnant is still shocking, you and Nia, how I'm going handle two spoiled pregnant women," Devon said laughing a Lil. Dani smiled.

"I guess it will work out, you don't have to worry about me, I'll be fine I have dad, Grace, and Mason, Grace really been helping out a lot, I really like her I'm glad her dad getting marry," Dani said smiling and looking at Grace out the Corner of her eye. Devon smiled.

"Me too sis l I Love you," Devon said hugging Dani.

"I love you too." She said hugging me and smiling. She can now enjoy her pregnancy in the right way. She didn't have anyone mad at her anymore. They were accepting the fact that she was about to have a baby.
