Chapter Eighteen

"Everything seem to be going good you guys, I know you in school and do a lot of walking a day Dani but slow it down some, your stress level is a Lil high." The doctor said to Dani and Mason as they sat in the OB/GYN. This was their last appointment that month. Dani was happy but wasn't happy. She just wanted her pregnancy to be over with. She was tired of being pregnant and she was just 12 weeks pregnant. Mason helped Dani up and she smiled at her doctor.

"I understand, see you later," Dani said as she and Mason walked out of the Lil room. They walked out of the building and To Mason's car. He helped her in and shut her door. He walked to his side and sighed before getting in. He Didn't want to be hard on Dani but she always stressing. The walking didn't have anything to do with it. Dani was stressed about something else and he didn't know what. He had to find out. He got in the car and looked at Dani.

"So tell me what heavy on your mind and it got you stressed huh? Don't you dare lie either." Mason spoke as he looked at Dani. Dani looked at him. She didn't know what to tell Mason. She didn't even know what was stressing her out. They were out of school for a good Lil three weeks so she knew it wasn't the walking. Walking doesn't cause stress. Her doctor was thrown off.

"Nothing Mason, I mean I don't know, maybe I need to stay away from salty food and coffee," Dani said smiling. He looked at her carefully and nodded his head. He started the car up and pulled off heading back to Dani's house. There is where he been spending most of his time. His parents Them come over everyday right along with Chloe them. It's like everybody was getting along so well. It made Dani and Mason happy.

They could bring their baby in the world with their family liking each other. With no damn tension. That's all they wanted. Was their family to be happy for them. Mason pulled up at her house and parked his car. He got out and went to help Dani out. They walked up to the door and on in. They walked into the living room and saw Grace and Nia sitting on the couch. They looked back at them and smiled.

"Finally you two are here, Dani how did it go today?" Grace asked as she opened up a sunflower seed. Dani sat down and smiled.

"It went well, nothing wrong I'm fine the baby fine, Nia you not ready to drop your baby?" Dani asked as she rubbed her belly. Mason was halfway upstairs. He didn't want to be in their woman talk. He walked in Dani's room and plopped right on her bed. He was beyond tired. That's all he did, Was Sleep and eat. Like he was the pregnant one. As soon as he closed his eyes his name was called. He sighed and got up going back downstairs.

"Yes?" Mason asked Grace as he reached the living room. She smiled at him.

"Can you go to the store for me please, Devon, or Julian not answering their phone and maybe stop by the trap they at and see if their ok, have to stay here with y'all pregnant girlfriends," Grace said as she handed him some money. He looked at her and laughed.

"What I'm getting?" He asked looking at her.

"Call me I'll make sure to answer my phone." She said tapping his face. He smiled and walked to the front door. As soon as he opened it Devon was walking up.

"Grace about to kick you and Julian a*s just to warn you," Mason said as he dapped him.

"I know her and Nia, my damn phone broke dad just turned his phone off when he at the trap, why she didn't call James he was with us now I Don't where the nigga at, where are you going?" Devon asked as he looked at Mason.

"To the store for her, let me go before she comes out this door and beat me and you both," Mason said as he walked to his car. He got in and started it pulling off.

"So your parents and grandmother are fine with you just being here with me, and not with them?" Dani asked Mason as he rubbed her belly with cocoa butter. He looked at her and smiled.

"Yeah they fine with it they just came down for my grandmother not me well Chloe did but she been in the studio." He said as he got up. She smiled. She turned the tv on And Mason laid next to her. They cuddle with each other and just watched tv. They were super happy for one another. Dani still can't believe she with him and pregnant by him. She guessed Dashona was right. He liked his woman with meat. She had to call her best friend. She hasn't heard from her in almost a week. Dani knew she was out of town but they still could talk. She missed her. Mason hovers over Dani and she looked at him.

"What are you doing?" She asked as stared into his eyes. He kissed her lips and she smiled.

"Come on let's go play a game I'm tired of laying in bed." He said as he got up. He helped Dani up and they walked out of her room and all the way to the end of the hall to the game room. They walked in and he turned the light on. He went to the WII and turned it on. Dani grabbed the controller and they started playing tennis.

Mason just wanted to spend some time with Dani. Doing this whole holiday thing it just like families and no Them time. They are too tired at night to do anything and Mason wouldn't dare have s*x with Dani in her dad's house. He wanted his life. He just wanted to see Dani smile which she been doing a lot lately. Guess she was finally happy being pregnant.
