❛ My lips almost ripped from smiling as I watched him gracefully flying like a pollen cloud floating in the air. As usual, people are looking at me as if I am insane, but little do they know that I am the luckiest man on earth, for I am the only one who has seen the most beautiful creature God has ever created named Riley. ❜

A story wherein Riley is a fairy from a magical realm who gets lost in another universe on his way home. He met Matteo, who is a sophomore university student, and decided to help Riley get back to his home. However, people thought Matteo was only making up stories because no one can see the fairy except him.

Fairies are little human-like with beautiful wings and magical powers. Every fairytale book has its own descriptions of fairies. They are commonly defined as cheerful and adorable magical creatures. Fairies have this gleaming dust that, if touched by a human being, causes them to float in the air like fairies. It would be so fun if they were real, however they were nothing more than the author's imagination working overtime to make us believe in happy endings and magic. But why do his eyes see one right now hovering above everyone's heads, completely unaware of its surroundings? The little fairy has been playing since the classes started, and nobody seems to notice, or perhaps no one sees him at all but himself. He almost jumped on his seat when someone suddenly hit his desk. He quickly looked in front and saw his professor glaring at him. Matteo noticed his friend trying to suppress his laughter. "Mr. Lee, I do not allow everyone to sleep during my class and that includes daydreaming." "I’m sorry, Mr. Smith." The professor just rolled his eyes and walked back to the front and continued his announcement before he dismissed the class. Jude raised both his hands as if surrendering right after Matteo gave a death glare when he tried to walk towards his direction, "hey! Hey, don’t look at me like that! I did call you before Mr. Smith caught you, but you are so focused on staring at the ceiling." "What are you even watching there?" he added. Now that he asked Matteo about that, he looked around the class and realised that the little beauty wasn’t there anymore. He quickly disappeared when Mr. Smith screamed. I guess he got scared. Or maybe you were just hallucinating, the other side of his thoughts said. Matt blinked when Jude snapped his fingers right in front of his face, "You’re daydreaming again, Matt." Matt just threw the crumpled paper at his friend and walked out of the room. "We all know that Mr. Smith is mad at you because you don't pay attention to him." "Could you please lower your voice, Hya? What if someone overhears you and tells Mr. Smith? The old man could sue you for making false accusations!" "But it’s true though! Can’t you see how he looks at us wherever our paths cross, especially at Matt? Dude, he wants to devour us one by one!" "I said quiet!" Jaden yelled as he shoved the entire loaf of bread into Hya's mouth. Matt merely looked at his friends and sighed. He put on his headphones so he wouldn't hear his friends gossip about him as if he wasn't there. He was wondering how his friends from different departments knew about it, but why would he be curious? Jude, for sure, had already told their friends about what had happened in class earlier; that man was like a security camera. While busy on his phone, a familiar figure caught his attention. His friends were taken aback as he abruptly stood from his seat. Jaden was about to approach him when he dashed out of the cafeteria, leaving his friends bewildered. Matt continued to run, hoping to catch that familiar figure, but it was so fast. Fortunately, he spotted a man with a bicycle not far from the building he had just exited. He went to the man and stole his bicycle, he then rode it and turned his route to catch whoever he saw in the cafeteria. He can hear the man and even his friends calling him, but he could speak with them later. He first must confirm whether or not this is true. Matt continued to cycle, oblivious to the fact that he was now a long distance away from his university. A garden? There’s a garden in this place? He was so preoccupied scanning the area that he didn't see a single rock on his way. Matt cursed when he lost his balance and hardly fell on the grass. Oh, f*****g great! Matt turns around as he hears a gasp a meter away, and there he sees the human, or perhaps a beautiful creature, lurking behind an old tree. "I can see your wings," Matt stated. Matt let out a soft giggle when the little creature made a cute sound. It slightly peeked at the side of the tree and immediately hid when both of their eyes met. "I intend no harm, I simply want to see you and help you?" And it seems that Matt whispered the magic word because the little beauty glided away from the tree towards him. The fairy was still far away, soaring in a circle while he was in the center of that imaginary circle. Right and left. Right and left. The fairy keeps tilting his head sideways while looking at Matt, and the older guy's heart almost stops beating as he hears its sweet voice for the first time. ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ "You can clearly see me." ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
