"I mean that you both are expelled for the repeated violent acts at this school", Mr. Timothy growled sternly. "Ok Mr. Timothy. We understand", Caroline's father said. "But daddy!", Caroline whined before a slapped filled the air. "Enough! You have made me lose to much face yet you still want to disagree?!". Her face was filled with utter shock as she held her cheek," Dad-". "Get up haven't you embarrassed us enough?!", He yelled before storming towards the door. He paused in the doorway and said, "Good day Mr. Brooks", before continuing out. Caroline furiously flew out on her broom with her mother beside her. "Mr. Timothy, My wife and I think it would be better to home school Lydia from now on", Her father said in a chilling voice as they rose and exited the room. "I believe this all we have for today, Mr. Brooks", Mr. Timothy said standing to shake hands. "Alright please let me know if you ever need to discuss anything like this again", My father said meeting his hand shake. My mom walk over to me as I stood up engulfing me in a hug. "Mom..Can't...Breathe", I said straining to talk. "I'm so proud of you", she whispered in my hair. I swelled with pride as I returned the hug to the strongest woman I had ever known in my two lives. "I learned to do it from my amazing role-model parents", I whispered back which...was a very bad move. She clung to me tighter and started to cry. Sweet air I miss you, I thought struggling to breathe. Thank the heavens, Dad learned some tips on tactic in high school wrestling to save me. "Honey she's turning purple", He chuckled at her. "Oh My God!", she said releasing me immediately. Well made too fast. Because backside was on a mega drop to the ground. Sweet Baby Jesus save me. Suddenly, a arm wrapped around my waist to stop me. Too bad it caused us both to fall. "Ugh", I said sitting onto of whoever caught me, "Thank you". "You're welcome sweetheart", the rough voice said from behind me. I looked to Lee's and I's faces inches apart with me sitting on his lap. I quickly got up, "I'm so sorry", I said offering my hand. He smiled grabbing and getting up. "It's fine. I'd do it again if it meant I could save a heifer like you", he smirked jokingly before yelping in hurt. "How dare you say that to a lady, young man. Do you need to go back to manners class?", said to woman now holding his ear. "No ma'am", he said docilely before she released him. I was laughing at his expression of undesirable pain. "I'm sorry dear. He's never acted like this before with young ladies especially in front of our family", the lady said taking my hand in a fragile manner. "It's okay. I have a brother he probably learned it from", I said softly before turning to smirk at Jamie who was shocked. "I'm sorry for my nephew's behavior, Mr. Brooks", the man said to my father. "It's okay, Samuel", My dad said to him before looking over to me, "She's stronger than she looks". "Alright, Mr.-". "Please call me Asher", My dad said smiling at him. "And please call me Melissa", my mother said to the lady. "I will if you call me Kiara", she said smiling in return. "It's a deal", my mom said laughing as they fell into conversation. Suddenly, I was attacked from behind. "Hey bestie", she sang. "Hey Misty", I sang back. She hugged me tightly. "Thanks for everything". "What are besties for", I said as we followed our parents out the door. "That wasn't nice", I heard from behind to see both Jamie and Lee pouting. "Oh s**k it up, buttercup", Misty said shoving my brother. "Who are you-". I couldn't hear the rest of the argue as out of nowhere came a heavy hit from behind me. Not the floor. Not the floor. Not the Floor, I chatted in my head as I was falling to my fate. But once again someone caught me. I looked to see Lee's face full of concern. "Are you alright, Sadie?". Feeling lost for words, I nodded my head as I slowly regain my balance. "Oh my goodness. Are you okay?", David said as half of his papers where scattered across the ground. "Yeah", I said stiffly. As if feeling the tension, Jamie and Misty joined us. "I'm David. Nice to me you, Mr. Jamie", he said holding his hand directly to my brother by passing Lee in the middle of him. "You say hello to him and not me? Are you trying to pull some rank here, punk?", Lee said angrily as he buffed up to him. "N-no. I-I was just trying to greet her brother", David tried to fend passively. In the past, I would have defended him but not now. "Hey, Lee", I said putting my hand on his chest, "Easy there killer, if you want a greeting like that just go ask a snake or rat for one because that's about what it feels like". "Sadie Travis!", my mother yelled at me. "I guess your right, darling", Lee said pulling me close against his chest, eyeing David who was shocked by my words still, "I don't need a greeting from a two timing sleazeball after all. Just a friendly warning touch her again and you will meet a painful feat". Without another word, he turned to guide me farther down the hallway. "What was that Hades? Desperate to burn that soul?", I question him still under his hold. He chuckled quietly before looking down at me. "Maybe he touched something that's off limits", he said gazing at me. I tapped my chin to think. "Was it you a**holish pride?". "Nope", he smirked. "Cruelish behavior?". "Nope. Last guess before I start charging you". "Ummm....ice cream?". He stopped us abruptly and looked at me, "Ice cream?". "Hell yeah. I'd kill someone if they ate the last bite or said my ice cream wasn't good", I said proudly. "Of course you would", he smiled softly before continue walking. "Hey what's that supposed to mean?", I shouted following after him. "You have to pay if I am going to answer that". "What is the payment?", I questioned. He turned to me and started walking towards me while I stepped back until I was against the wall. "How about a kiss?", he said closely as his breath fanned across my face. *Lee* I really didn't want to answer why I did what I did to David. Because hell I didn't even know why. He gives off a good personality but underneath he feels toxic, only choosing his targets to put the show on for and outcasts the others. I was ready to fight him before Sadie stopped me. Her warm hand pressed against my chest was like an anchor to bring me back to reality. She is a bright person that's so full of life when you get her to open up but something is off about her sometimes. Like when her so-called best friend tries to talk with her or when that b*****d David comes around her whole demeanor turns...cold. Her smile fades and she becomes almost haunted with her looks. I can't stand it that's why we're here, away from the parents and the other two. I love her curiosity and humor, but how she looks right now with her back against the wall facing me feels...right. I look at her wide eyes and parted mouth at the shock of my words. "W-What?", she stuttered. My lips pulled into a smirk, "You heard me". She swallowed heavily. "H-How has this... payment plan work with others?", she quizzed softly. "I don't know. I haven't ever done it before", I smirked at her sincerely. "O-Oh", she stuttered again. Slowly, I leaned in, she lips perfectly parted for me when..."Mister, What are you doing?". I froze to look down and see light up shoes and big brown eyes looking at me. Well, s**t. "He was umm... Looking at my earrings", Sadie said frantically. "Yeah, and what a pretty pair they are", I said looking in her eyes with a new type of heat in my eyes. "Ooo. Can I see, Pretty Lady?", the little voice asked again. "Of course you can", Sadie said kneeling down to the little one's height. The little girl's eyes shimmered in delight at the little blossoms in Sadie's ears. "They are really pretty, Pretty Lady", She said with an adorable smile. Sadie's eyes softened as she returned it with a heart melting one, "Thank you little one". The short kiddo glanced up at me then to Sadie before asking a question. "So, Pretty Lady. Are you two dating?".
