Sam, Jay, Damian, and I decided to go on a little run while our mates were getting around before the meetings started. Ok, so Jay was going to fly, but either way it was our own little thing. As I made my way to the back yard to meet up with them, I couldn't help but notice how good I felt, mentally and physically.
Lucius chuckled. "Who would have thought that good rest actually mattered, huh?"
"Yeah, no kidding. I almost forgot what a good night's sleep was like."
I hated to admit it, but ever since Rhi decided to play leap frog in time she hasn't been having her usual nightmares. I don't know if she's gotten the answers she's been looking for, or if her mind is too busy focusing on the new things she's learned, but for right now I'll take it as a win.
