I evanesced right after my dad, but when I arrived where I saw the small amount of smoke originating from, confusion and fear consumed me.
The fire that surrounded me burned brightly. It was so intense that the heat became overpowering. Everything was on fire, everything.
I quickly turned in a circle as I stood in the center of the dirt road. Red, orange, and yellow flames danced across the forest on either side as smoke filled the air, making it impossible to breathe.
I looked around for my father, but I couldn't see him anywhere, but that wasn't surprising with the lack of visibility.
"Dad, where are you? I can't see you!" I tried linking my dad, but I didn't get a reply. Maybe he found Kaj, Delilah, and my grandparents and was helping them.
