It's been far too long since I've been home for a long stay. I only wish that it could be under better circumstances. You know, like an ACTUAL vacation or something so we could all relax and have quality time together.
"This isn't exactly bad. More like preparation for future work!" Batiti's excited voice rang in my head. I've been able to let her out in the forest that surrounds the treehouses where we live, but she wants to fight, she wants blood.
"You're not exactly helping, Batiti. Your excitement needs to be toned down a notch or ten."
My wolf chuckled as she quieted down so I could have a much needed discussion with everyone. I looked around at our mini-reunion. Blue, Mia, Jay, Izzy, Damian, Celeste, Tyler, Rhi, Seth, Sylvia, Jo and my first target for the evening, Sam.
