In the king's court,there was a long table,and chairs were occupied by the court magistrate, facing the throne where the king sat. On the king's left was his son, Alex,who sat staring blank at the magistrates sitted. He was bored in their presence,he hated palace duties.

"My king,the people in the kingdom are asking when the prince will get married",a magistrate named Samuel said. The prince tilted his head and glared at samuel. Once a prince can win a war,the kingdom will be waiting for the future bride. There will be a lot of suitors. Odd culture, Alex always thought.

"I guess this is the prince's decision",the king replied, making all heads tilt in the prince's direction. They all knew he didn't want to commit himself in any marriage. Every girl in the kingdom wanted to be with him,they wanted to be the queen,some didn't mind to be a show trophy.

"Time is running out, your majesty,the prince is not getting younger,I really think......

"I guess you all are done with what you came here for", Prince Alex interrupted Samuel,"you may all leave",he said. The magistrate stood up and bowed their heads to the king and prince in union. Samuel felt offended, but he couldn't do anything. They are left.

"He has a point", Alex heard his father say,after some seconds of silence.

"He's saying that,so that I can marry his daughter,fools",the prince replied.

"It still dwells on your single status,I think it's high time you get a wife",the king said firm

"I am not interested",the prince spat

"You are the prince,and you don't have a choice",the king smiled at him,"get me a parchment paper and ink",he commanded a servant, standing far on the left.

The prince sat, staring at his father. The servant returned back with the parchment and ink, placing it gently on the table before the king. The king scribbled some words on the parchment paper. After writing,he folded the paper neatly and handed it over to the servant. "Deliver it to the neighboring kingdom",he commanded.

"I invited Angel to the palace, it's high time you start looking for a bride",the king said. It seems mere mentioning of the name, Angel,made Alex angry.

"You want me to get married to Angel?",the prince asked, sounding disgusted

"Of course, she's the perfect person for you, unless you want to marry Samuel's daughter",he paused,"I can easily arrange for that", the king smiling

Alex got up from his seat,he was already angry. He stared at his father, and walked out,he felt like ripping off someone's head.
