Royal quest

Chapter 2

Alex stormed out angrily,he felt like bringing the whole castle down. He bumped Into his younger sister.

"Prince Alex", Eni called and bowed,"what's wrong?",she asked

"Don't you know how, and when to ask questions?",he yelled,he had already lost it to his anger,"be sensible for a change",he said and left.

Eni sighs,she always wondered why her brother was always tempered,she always felt odd.she saw her father sit on the throne, staring at her direction, looking amused,like something funny happened.

She walked to where her father sat. He was the only one person that understood her no matter what. Grace followed her elder sister, Eni closely,she wanted to know what was going on. She knew her father had brought up the marriage issue again.

"Greetings father", Eni greeted,and took her sit right beside her father

"Princess Eni",he said, giving her a warm smile. He ignored his other daughter,Grace, she's the youngest and the silliest among all his three kids. He always wished his wife hadn't pampered her at all.

"Papa",Grace greeted, taking a seat next to Eni. "Seems you brought up the marriage issue again pa", Grace immediately added.

"The prince is not ready to get married,he isn't getting younger at all", the king said

"I thought Samuel's daughter has shown so much interest in........

"Every girl show's interest in the prince if given a chance", Eni said, interrupting her sister.

"Sister Eni, what do you propose?, that our brother should remain a sprinter for life?",Grace asked, sounding more like mockery.

"The prince is taking his time to pick the right bride",she paused,"I'm sure you don't want to wake up one morning and see the kingdom belonging to another", Eni said,carrying her usual blank expression.

"Well,I really think you are being..."

"I sent for Angel",the king interrupted, earning the four eye balls to stare at him

"Father", Eni whispered,she hadn't expected her father would reach the point of suggesting Angel as a bride.

"Pa,are you for real?",Grace asked,after few seconds of silence,amazed, staring at her father

"Yes,I have already sent a letter to their kingdom,she will be here today"the king said

"But father, brother Alex will never agree to.....

"I think it's a fantastic idea",Grace interrupted, smiling. "Angel is the suitable girl for him", Grace said with a smirk on her face.

"Pa,did you send a coachman to her?", the youngest daughter asked

"I didn't see any need for that",the king gave a nonchalant reply

"Of course Pa, there's need",she got up,"we wouldn't want the future queen to walk by foot, would we?",she teased

"You,get the fastest running horse and cottage and sent to the neighboring kingdom",she commanded a servant who was walking past the courtroom

"Yes, milady",the servant replied immediately, shaking like a leaf.

"I want her to get here as soon as possible",she added and walked out.

The king and Eni stared at Grace as she walked out. "father this is a terrible idea", Eni whispered to her father

"I am aware",he gave a simple reply and left, leaving Eni sitted in the courtroom.
