Chapter Five

Thana

It’s been a month after I come home, and I totally adjusted myself from the big change happened in my life. I was busy watching news, the reporter announces a series of killing and missing people. The reporter also reported that some of the victims were found dead and mauled by animal, their body was dried out of blood.

“It must be the blood suckers.” Belle said behind me, I didn’t notice that she’s near me.

My face formed a frown after what I heard and looked at her.

“It’s been a long time since we heard a vampire attack. How is it possible?” I questioned.

“Look what the reporter said, their dead bodies look like drained with blood. Only vampires can do that.” She spoke.

“What if that vampire you save a long time ago is behind those killings.” She added.

I sighed and looked at her seriously.

“I think it’s time to find out” I said.

“Great, this night will be exciting” she heard from Belle before they walked into their rooms separately.

Belle

I went home from a date with Michael. We’ve been dating for a month. When Thana and I left the restaurant, he called me that afternoon. After that we texted each other. He’s a nice guy, she found out that his family was the owner of the restaurant where Thana and I ate our lunch. He was on training on duty before his parents turn over the restaurant to him. After a few nights and day of exchange messages, he finally asked me a date.

 I saw Thana seriously watching the news about recent killing and missing people. I feel like those bloodsuckers and told her about it. A lot of years had passed after the last vampire attack in the human world.  Thana and I decided to investigate the place where the body of victim was found.

“Great, this night will be exciting” I said while walking to my room.

I open my closet and saw my overall outfit. I walked towards my bathroom and do quick a change.

I looked towards my body length mirror. And look my reflection I am wearing a 2 inches combat boots, paired with skintight black pants. I wore a black spaghetti strap and top of that is a black tight leather jacket. I let my shoulder length blonde hair fall behind my back.

“It’s been a long time the last time I wore this outfit.” I said to myself, looking satisfied.

 I lastly glance myself before I went out the bathroom and leave my room. I waited Thana in the living room. Then, after couple of minutes, I saw her coming out of her room. Also, wearing black combat boots, paired with skintight pants, with a full sleeved black turtleneck top. Her hair was styled into tight ponytail.

“It’s been so long that I haven’t kick an ass” I said.

She shook her head.

“We will be doing this to find out what was happening, and if a supernatural is behind those killings.” She muttered and she rolled her eyes.

I just laughed from her reaction.

“Okay, okay. Are you ready?” she asked.

“Born ready" I replied

“Okay, just don't  shift” she replied. I smiled and nodded.

Then she holds my hand and teleports us into the place where the last victim was found.

It was and old train station, it is dark and looks liked hunted. The place is so horrific, dried blood on the floor. Belle and I sniff the air. Our eyes went wide.

“It’s the bloodsucker” I said, and she nodded.

“Yeah, your right. Their scent is everywhere the place.” She spoke.

 Her eye color change to red orange.  As well as my green orbs changed to my wolf eyes, bright blue.

Thana

 We walked together towards the dark alley. We follow the scent and it led us to the underground train station.

We stop when we heard a rustling footstep behind the exit door. Belle’s jump on the top of the empty train and I use one my power, invisibility.

We keep our eyes towards the exit and waited for the person that will come out.

A few moments, the door open and two large men came out, their back faces her. Their scent was different from the scent that surrounds the area. Must be new set of vampires and hunting for tonight.

“The scent lead us this way.” one of the men said.

“Yeah, they are maybe hiding somewhere. s**t we must find them before things getting worst.” the other man said. His voice brought shivers into my spine. And Celeste started to purr in her mind.

It felt weird. She shook her head and shut down her fox, ignored what she felt. She looks towards Belle.

“Their scents are different Belle” I talked to Belle through telepathy.

“Yeah, but they still blood suckers.” We must kill them” She replied.

“Okay just leave one alive, we need some information from them.” I replied.

“Okay!” She replied before her let out a loud growl and jump out from the train. She attacks the two vampires.

I shake my head again; her best friend is so aggressive. I saw the two men were thrown to the wall.

Nikolas

It’s been a few weeks after Marcus was attacked in the bar by another vampire. Every night we searched for her a nd investigate those reported killings, but we couldn’t trace her. She hunt every night and we can’t capture her. She disappear like nothing happed. We saw the news about a dead body found in the old train station. I called Marcus and we decided to inspect the place.

 We arrived the area, the scent of the area is filled with dry blood.

"Vampires" I thought to myself based on the scent filled the place. Marcus and I looked each other.

We follow the scent and lead us to the underground train station. We walk towards the exit side of the railway. As we open the door, the scent was gone and step in the. And then we heard a very loud growl and a beautiful she wolf jump out from the old train and attack us. Marcus and I was thrown towards the wall. I feel the pain in my back when it hit the cold wall.

With our vampire speed we stood up and started to attack the she-wolf to defend our self. I was surprised when another woman suddenly appears and punched Marcus in the face and kick his head and he fell to the ground. I don’t hit women but this she wolf is really wanted to kill me so when she lunged on me. I kick her to the chest that made her fly towards the empty train, shattered and broken glass fell the ground.

I looked towards Marcus, and I saw him already pinned the other woman to the wall with his dark magic. I looked towards the she wolf. Her eyes started to glow into bright blue and then wild vines started to come out everywhere the place, leaves appear behind her back, and it started to flown towards me like wind blades. But before it hit my body, my eyes glow to golden red and all the vines and leaves were freeze into eyes. The she wolf was shocked from what I did, the area started to cool, and ice is everywhere. I look towards the she wolf. I raise my hand and then her feet started to cover with ice. And then I heard someone yelled at me, the voice is firmed, cold but beautiful voice.

“Stop, or your friend will be dead.” She yelled. I looked towards the voice came from. And then, I saw those golden red orange pair of beautiful eyes. I saw her face and she’s beautiful. She look shocked too when she saw me.

When our eyes met, I feel the time stop and my heart beating faster. I saw her she pinned a worried Marcus down the floor with a silver stake aimed into his heart. She's the woman in the forest!

“Damn, Thana, I am frozen to death here and you just looking with that vampire like you wanted to have s*x with him.” the she wolf growled towards her.

We were both back in our senses because of her voice.

“Release my friend or he will die.” she said again and deepen the silver stake to Marcus skin. I heard a hurtful growl from Marcus when his skin contacted with the silver stake.

“Okay, I let her go and you do the same with my friend.” I said to her, looking to the she wolf and Ice started to dis appear from her body. I heard the she wolf slumped herself to the floor.

She nodded and started to release Marcus.

“Don’t make any wrong move. You don’t know what I’m capable of. I can kill you both even before you knew it,” she said and then a strong wave of power came out of her body. I saw Marcus whimpered, but I fight back her strong aura.

“Is he the guy that you’re telling me?” the she wolf questioned her with chasing breath. She nodded and sighed, the strong wave of power radiating from me lifted.

She run towards the she wolf and checked if she’s alright.
