I was going home after a long time, like I was going to see my parents after a long time.
Ahaan was a bit excited to show me some surprise which turned out to be a kitten, but I wasn’t a big fan of animals, so yeah it was okay with me.
We were then sitting at the table silently when daddy broke the silence.
“How"s Science there? Need tuitions?” I choked with that question of daddy.
“Water?” Maa offered and I declined.
“Umm, daddy actually.” I stopped as I saw him glaring at me, with sparks in his eyes saying ‘yea my daughter will be a scientist’ and me feeling ashamed of myself, regretting my decisions. Not listening to someone who gave me so much to love about and so much to live for.
I was just going to hurt someone with my decision and a lie over it. Stupid me.
