"Yes, Ace. I just told you everything that happened up until this point. You owe me the same courtesy, no?"
She was right. Karla was open like that. She didn't hide anything that was important, and she demanded the same of the people around her.
I cleared my throat to hide the unease I was feeling. My journey so far since my less than graceful exit from the BlueMoon pack. It was something I would rather never talk about again, but I understood why this was important to her.
"What exactly do you want to know?" Maybe that would make it easier. If I knew what she wanted to know specifically.
"First, how did you become Alpha?"
