Chapter Twenty Four
Keanu’s POV
I tried to run after Lia after Prof Diaz and I were done talking pero hindi ko na siya naabutan. Nakita ko na lang ang kotse niya na papalabas na ng gate. Napabuntong hininga na lang ako.
“She was hurrying to go home,”
Napatingin ako sa nagsalita. I saw Jea. Iniwas ko agad ang tingin ko sa kaniya. “I just want to talk to her,”
I heard Jea sigh. “She’s not ready yet,” she said.
Hindi ako nagsalita. Nanatili lang kaming nakatayo ni Jea. Am I wrong for pushing too much to talk to her? Dapat ba hayaan ko muna siya?
“Don’t worry, she’ll come around,” Jea said after a while. “I’ll talk to her,”
Umiling ako. “There’s no need. I’ll just wait til she’s ready,”
Jea smiled. “Thank you for respecting my friend, Keanu,” she said. T
