Del fluffed her pillow and pulled the covers up higher. Normally she was up at seven, in time for one of Darby’s breakfast cook-ups. But not today. Today she planned to stay in bed. Tiny scratched at the door again. Del let him in, only just beating him back to the bed. ‘Move over, you big lug.’ Del pulled the pillow over her head. How on earth was she going to tell Darby about what Vince had done? How would she tell Ken and the others in the Berrimilla Progress Association? How could she bear to? Del wondered what Nick would do this morning to discredit their grassroots campaign. Hold a press conference? Go on regional television? Talk on the radio? All three?
