Opportunity arises

As I make my way into the coffee shop the smell of freshly brewed coffee envelopes me and I feel the tension slowly leaving my body as I move towards the counter where a beautiful girl is playing on her phone.  I stop in front of her and clear my throat to get her attention. 'How may I help you today?' her tone coming across as slightly irritable. I let out a shaky breath, before finally finding my voice, 'Good morning, uhm, I was wondering if you are hiring at the moment, I am a fast learner and' but she stops me mid sentence with one perfectly manicured finger in the air, after which she directs the same finger to the poster behind her which reads 'not interested in hiring'. I can feel my hope melting away as I make my way towards yhe exit after thanking her anyway, when the most beautiful woman I have ever seen suddenly looks up at me, her eyes seemingly endless pools of green. I don't know how long we were staring at each other but she finally broke the silence, 'Hi, my name is Abigail... But you can call me Abby, please take a seat.' Still enchanted by her eyes I find my body slowly making its way to the empty seat across from her. She lets out a light chuckle witnessing my actions, to which I can feel my cheeks turning red.  I look away to compose myself before extending my hand and introducing myself. We talk for a while when suddenly asks me if I have had any experience with kids, because she needs a full time nanny. I'm about to decline when she grabs my hand from in front of me and looks deep into my eyes, 'I know we are going to be best friends and my children will lobe you!' My mind is racing to find a response when I finally let my lips curl into a small smile that reaches my eyes.  She ordered a coffee for me, which earned me another glare from the mean waitress. After finishing my coffee she said I can start right away and should start packing though I will be needing a new wardrobe, she also mentioned that they traveled a lot and that I would be expected to fit in with her family.  And so my morning that started out as terrible and rather embarrassing fail turned around for into the perfect opportunity for my new start. She walked me to the hotel and said she needed to run some errands while I gather my bags.  When I reached the lobby with my two bags, she was not back yet. I took a seat and started wondering what this journey would entail, would her family be as bubbly an nice as her, would her children like me and what she meant with me needing to fit in with them. My mind was still racing with questions when she came in with a big smile and open arms, scooping me up into a hug. 'Are you ready? Everybody wants to meat you.' she chirped while still hugging me tightly. And with a nod and a smile we walked out of the hotel and towards a beautiful black suv, with tinted windows and a rather large man standing by the open door. After getting comfortable she introduced him as Allen, her driver, to which he only gave a curt nod in the rear view mirror and started driving. I stared out the window and slowly fell asleep to the sound of Abby singing along to some song playing on the radio.
