Family

I awoke when Abby lightly shoke my shoulders and as I slowly got out of the car I looked up and, wow, just wow. This was the biggest house I had ever seen, more like a mansion or a castle. An enormous garden came around from both sides and I could hear the sound of water cascading down a fountain somewhere to the left.  I was still gaping at the beautiful landscape when the large double doors opened to reveal a gorgeous giant of a man wearing an expensive tux watching me carefully. When our eyes met I could have sworn I saw them turn black but its probably just my imagination. Abby was bouncing next to me with excitement and introduced the beautiful man with the interesting eyes as her husband, Noah. 'Babe, this is Cira. The one I told you about. She is exquisite isn't she?' she said with a wink while pulling me forward. He kept eye contact when he extended his large hand and took mine in it for a firm handshake. But the minute we touched a chill went down my spine and his eyes did their thing again. I shook it off and followed Abby through the doors.  The inside of the was just as magnificent as the outside, with an amazing wooden double stairway and vintage furniture, a touch of modern art. Everything was perfect. Abby suddenly stopped and it looked like her eyes became grey-ish of glassy for a second but after what happened outside I am sure its just my mind playing games with me. Then I looked up from where footsteps could be heard.  From the second flour, two girls looking similar equally beautiful as Abby appeared. They must be twins because they look identical, both with medium dark brown hair that was in a high ponytail, ripped black denim shorts and red cropped shirts. Abby introduced them as Arina and Adele. They just turned fifteen. Looking closer Arina looked a little more tan and Adele had a deeper voice. I would need to concentrate on these two, to know who is who.  Then a boy looking around twelve approached us. He had dark curly hair and big dimples. Surely going to be a heartbreaker when he is older. Big blue eyes like his father and a genuine smile like Abby. He introduced himself as Dawid and Abby added that he was thirteen.  Next came a young boy around four of five with dark blonde hair and large blue eyes. He was so cute with his enthusiasm when he saw me and I immediately knew this kid would be my world when he gave me, a complete stranger, a hug, trying to get his little arms around me. Did I mention that I love little kids? If not yeah, I adore them because they are so innocent and pure. Noah spoke from behind me for the first time and he had this incredible deep voice that made me freeze for a moment, 'This is Luke'. Finally regaining myself I looked down at the little boy and asked 'Hey, I'm Cira. How old are you sweetie?' to which he held four fingers up. I answered with a 'Ah' while ruffling his hair. Then the door behind me opened and a younger version of Noah came walking in looking me dead in the eye and slightly scaring me with his devilish smirk. His dark blue eyes never leaving mine, he takes my hand and shake it ones, says 'Clay',, before letting go and walking off. Abby yelled a loud 'Clayton Anderson!' but he continued walking up the stairs and dissappearing out of view.  Abby, clearly frustrated with the oldest son's behavior, said 'Sorry about that brat. And welcome home to your new family darling!' before hugging me again full of excitement and eager to show me to my room.  That night I laid in bed wondering about my new family before drifting off to sleep.
