I stood in the shower, letting the hot water trickle down my body as I hung my head. My hands clenched into fists as I tried so damn hard to push this rage down. It was unrelenting and blazing like wildfire as the heat began to consume me. Those flames licking at these invisible gaping wounds that can only be healed by my mate.
