CHAPTER 42 LARISSA I stirred lightly as the beams of light from a crack in the curtains shone directly in my line of sight, causing me to flinch. Still tired, I flicked my eyes open and took in my surroundings. For some reason, even though I would have liked to sleep longer, I was surprisingly not in a sour mood. Scratch that. I was happy.
