It was the emptiness that paralyzed his whole body the moment Lyria left. A piece of his heart had been forcefully wrenched away from him.  Tch. He chuckled inwardly. A piece of my heart?   It was more like his whole heart had been shredded. He thought ... he thought and hoped ... but what did it matter? His chest was heavy as he came back to the clearing.  "Leave me alone," he ordered his knights. Slowly but surely, the knights left him alone.  Flashes of memories flooded him. He saw Lyria's smiling figure when she was talking to the fairies or joking with his knights. He remembered the way Lyria looked at him when they went to see the Mass Wedding Festival. Her touch and her warmth that he had grown accustomed to every night.  All of it was gone. All left him. Alone. She left him.
