'It definitely will, an opportunity to bang some chicks' Says Zach, rudely butting into our conversation with some vulgar words that we didn't need. The bell rings and we grab a form off the desk and leave Zach to find his alpha and in his words 'Best buddy'.

Its the end of the day and Jax comes over so we can all go out, opting for the back exit by the field we have to pass all Bloods Moon boys and jocks playing basketball. My eyes fall to James, before being pushed out of the way by a band of simply girls. 'Idiots'

A crowd has now formed around the court, and people are closing in on all sides to see the fine specimens playing basketball. I give up trying as Vivian and Jax come over to watch as well. I have to admit it's a close game, the boys playing are completely tired out by the time they finish. Apparently, my 'mate' isn't though. Speaking of whom.

'Oh, baby you played soo well!' Ugh, that blonde bimbo, again. 'Anything I can help you with when we get home' I almost puke as I understand what exactly she is offering to help with and I can't take it anymore and turn to leave when he says 'I'll take you up on that offer, maybe' I push my way out of the crowd, ignoring Viv's shouts. Maybe I'll get some Tylenol before I leave from the nurse's office, my head is splitting.

The aftertaste of Tylenol still lingering, I grab my phone to call Viv feeling guilty I left her there when someone comes barreling into me. It's her.

'I need to get back to my Jamesy, he's probably missing me' My wolf begin to surface, and I have to force her down, but in a second I won't be able to do anything. I walk off when my eyes begin to change, where is Viv when you need her?

'What's wrong, Adrienne, look at me.' I sigh in relief and give her a quick look at my eyes before directing my gaze back down. She nods her head understanding.

'Who was it?' I gesture in the direction of the bimbo, who's still yelling profanities at me. 'Ah, makes sense, she's a b***h. Come let's find somewhere private' She pulls me into a classroom and sits me down on a desk to calm down until my wolf retreats.

'Mate?' Storm howls and rampages around my head in a whirlwind of emotions as James makes an appearance. I cover my eyes and look down so he can't see them.

'He's your mate, Adrienne you should have told me.'

'Sorry'

'Why are you covering your eyes, Adrienne' A shiver runs through me hearing my name on his tongue. ' Mate, show me'

'Show him Ri, he's your mate' Its Viv this time and she knows I'll listen to her. I uncover my eyes and look up at him.

James POV

Her eyes were red, f*****g red. They were weirdly alluring though, but beautiful.

'I feel like a monster'

'A monster' I resist the urge to laugh 'You could never be a monster' Tears start to drip silently down my face, and I can't help but push them away with the pad of my thumb.

'It shouldn't matter to you anyway.'

'Why do you say that?'

'You don't even acknowledge me as your mate, as anyone at that.' I look down at my trainers knowing she's right. 'You don't care, kissing me like that after sucking the face off some bimbo just to run back to her' Her eyes are becoming a more vivid red, a feral look coming to her eyes as her wolf takes over. 'You don't give a s**t because mates make you weak, I make you weak.' She's shifting now, into this beautiful black wolf, as big as mine. Pacing, her eyes fade to her human dark stormy grey colour. Regulus demanding to meet his mate now, and I give into his request, letting him take over my body.

Third-person POV

Storm recognises that Alpha James is not present but his wolf. She jumps up and licks his face in delight and ruffles her fur.

'Names Regulus,' Storm whines in worry that he doesn't want her too. 'I will always want you as our mate baby, come here.' She pounces onto his lap and curls up, not before licking his face again and yapping in appreciation.

'You're so cute' She circles on his lap before sitting down, in her happiness, she accidentally let's slip her aura and Regulus is forced back because of it's intensity. Realising what she has done she reels it in. 'Shift, little mate' She shifts and hands control back to her human.
