Date Night

Alex POV

I wake up in my room I can see it’s dark outside. How long have I slept? But I must admit it was a nice sleep. I look at the clock it’s 8 PM. I have to let poor Lilly go home it’s been a long day for all of us.

I walk out to the living room the only person I saw there was Lilly. “Lilly where’s Jake?”

Lilly pointed to the large building on my back lot. “He’s there with the Alpha and Beta. I will stay there with him tonight while I get you ready for the Gamma.”

“Ready for the Gamma?” I raised my eyebrows.

“Yes; he has plans for you both this evening that I am supposed to be getting you ready for. Now shall we.” Lilly leads me into my spare room which has now turned into something from beauty and the beast. Makeup and hair brushes, lipstick, eyeliners; you name it it was moving at me.

In about 15 minutes everything finally stopped moving and Lilly passed this beautiful reddish-purple dress. It had a round neckline that showed a little cleavage. It flared from my hips and was knee-length. I felt like a princess.

“Well, Prince Charming is waiting for you.” Lilly smiles at me. I put the dress on then Lilly and I walk outside. She’s getting ready to head to the other house and hugged me. “He’s a good man give him a chance.” Lilly walks away.

I walk over to an area in my yard with music playing, and torches. Little lights through the trees. It was so romantic. “May I have this dance?” Nick holds his hand out as Ed Sheeran’s perfect came on.

I take his hand and he pulls me in his arms. I’m never getting out of this.

“Why would you want to? Look at him I mean that tux. Please girl you don’t fool me I know you want to rip it off.” Elle responds to my thought.

Nick notices that Elle has my attention and he is having none of that tonight. “Elle as much as I like spending time with you can I have my Queen back again.”

Elle nods. He just gives me a look knowing something is off. “I can’t dance?” I lower my head.

He lifts my chin. “Follow my lead.” He smiles at me as he places me in his arms correctly. Every wall I have put up is now crumbling. Bond or no bond this perfect man did all of this for me. I don’t know what came over me; and yes I mean me not Elle. I pulled him down and kissed him with everything I had in me. This man did this for me. He has shown me nothing but kindness and respect. He planned this perfect evening for just us. He loves my son; how could I not be falling for him? How can you fall for someone so fast? Right now was perfect; well the only thing that would make it more perfect would be if you had a bunch of fairy lights; like the solar ones you get. With that my yard lit up. There were thousands of fairy lights. This caused Lilly, Lex and Chris to run from the new mini-mansion in my yard.

“Why are you here?” Lilly asks.

“She called us.” One of the fairies told her.

Everyone was confused. “She said the only thing that would make this more romantic was if there were fairy lights so we came.” Another fairy answered

“You heard her?” Lilly questioned.

“She’s our Queen; well she’s all of our Queen.” Another spoke.

With that, a fair-haired normal-sized man and woman walked up my driveway.

“King Liam, Queen Moria.” Lilly bows.

“Auntie.” Liam smiles and they hug each other.

“Auntie. Your nephew is the Fae King?” Lex just gave her a look. Not sure if it was a question or a statement.

“Yes. Lilly was mated to my Uncle Levi.” Liam answered Lex then looked at me. “You must be her.” Lilly nodded at him. “You look like your mother.”

“She does doesn’t she.” Lilly beams.

“Well since you can command my kingdom you must have found your mate?” Liam smiles at me.

“Yes, she has,” Nick growls and pulls me into him.

“You have no worries about me, she is my cousin. But I will admit if it was my queen I would have locked her in a tower right now. Wolves are so possessive but again you have your own story.” Liam snickers at Nick.

“Wait I am only supposed to be a witch according to Lilly how can I command faes and hear my wolf?” I ask.

“Witches and Fae’s have common ancestry but they can be a bit short-sighted. Aunt Lilly is one of the good ones if she wasn’t Uncle Levi would not have been so taken by her.” Liam chuckled.

“You may be a king but I am your aunt and a witch, I can still take you over my knee.” Lilly groaned.

“You will be all things. Once auntie was mated to uncle Levi the Fae kingdom knew it was the start of everything. Your powers as a witch would have started at birth; your wolf and vampire not until you met your mate.” Liam explained.

“Why do I feel a connection to her and her son?” Lex asked.

Liam and Moria looked confused. “That we will have to check into,” Moria answered him. “We will be back later with more answers. They nodded at us, walked down the driveway and were gone.

“Well, that was interesting.” Chris quips.

“Nick if you like this dress I suggest you take it off her or it will be in pieces.” Elle’s voice comes out of my mouth.

I was confused as to what was going on. “My love you are about to shift and I really need to get you out of that dress as our date is to be continued,” Nick whispers in my ear as he unzips my dress.

My dress hits the ground but then so do I; pain courses through my body. I look up Nick is stripping off his tux and then kneels next to me. “It is going to be painful but I’m going to be here with you every step of the way.” Nick kisses my forehead.

“Sweetie if you keep fighting me it will be more painful. Just lie there and let me take over.” Elle speaks and I listen. After a minute the pain stops. I look up and see a big black wolf with silver tips standing and looking at me.

Lilly, Lex and Chris’s mouths drop when they see my wolf. Lilly walks over with her phone and flips the camera so I can see myself. A beautiful white wolf with a pink hue. Each paw was a different colour one red, one green, one blue, and one purple. The eyes were all four colours swirled with silver flecks throughout.

“You are the most beautiful wolf I have ever seen but you always have been.” Phineas's voice comes in my head.

“Elle if I can hear Phineas’s voice can I talk to Nick?”

“Yes, my love you can.” Nick answers. “Let’s go for a run.” With his words, Elle took off like a shot. Phineas could barely catch her. Once she slows down for him to catch her. She pounces at a rabbit for a snack. Yeah, I don’t think I will get used to that part.

“You are fast my goddess.” Phineas rubs up against Elle.

“She is fast and her eyes are different than earlier today,” Nick said.

“Her eyes?” I questioned.

“Yes while you were sleeping today Elle and Finn brought me into their realm. You had no red in them this afternoon.” Nick kind of stammered I guess he didn’t want me to know about that.

“Anyway, that is enough from you two. I get to have my time with my sexy wolf god bye bye.” Elle blocked us out so they can have some them time.

About an hour later Elle unblocked me. “I’m so not happy with you. I will get us home and shift back.” She huffs.

“What did I do?” I ask.

“You are not ready to be with Finn’s human so his human won’t let us mate. You are cockblocking me.” Elle snaps and runs to the cabin.

When we get to the cabin we shift back. Looking at that sexy god in front of me was making me think of the things that I can do to that body.

“My love let’s get inside and get dressed.” He walks over and whispers in my ear. “If you keep thinking like that I won’t be able to hold Finn off or myself.”

“Penny for your thoughts my love.” Nick lifts my chin so I’m looking at him.

“I’m sorry.” I sigh.

“Sorry for what?” He asks.

“You planned the beautiful evening for us, I called in fairies and shifted into a wolf. I’m sorry I ruined our date night.” I was disappointed he went through all of this and I messed it up.

“You didn’t ruin anything. Yes did it go to plan no but anytime I’m with you it is special and I will do my best to make all of our moments special.” He smiles at me.
