Chapter Fourteen I woke up at 7:30 on Sunday morning, two days after that long night of dancing with Jen. It was a typical crystal blue sky Hawaiian day. The sun was shining bright as I laced up my New Balance running sneakers. The funny thing is that the forecast for each part of the island is different. Many locals say if you do not like the weather, wait an hour and it will change. That’s about right. Once I went up on a plane ride on an island tour with a friend who had just earned his pilot’s license. I paid $50 for gas and we hit the skies in a single engine propeller plane from Dillingham Airfield on the north side of Oahu.
