After three years of dating and three years of marriage, Leo had grown tired of me.

He threatened me with divorce, demanding I surrender my hard-earned third-place title in the racing season to his new lover.

I signed my name resolutely and ended our marriage as quickly as possible.

Later, Leo, holding flowers and the ring I had thrown away, rented a huge LED screen to make a grand spectacle, begging me to remarry him.

Yann turned off all the screens, wrapped his arm around my waist, and walked away with me. "You dared to propose to my wife without even bothering to find out who I am?"

CHAPTER 1
I had an accident on the last lap of a qualifying race. My car crashed into the tire wall at over two hundred miles per hour, and I ended up with a fractured lower leg. Fortunately, I was rushed to the hospital in time and managed to survive. And I still won third place. Even though I was lying in the hospital bed injured, I was still full of anticipation, wanting to share this good news with my husband Leo and tell him that I had earned another honor for his club. But when I turned on the TV, what I saw instead was Leo hugging Claire, celebrating her trending news as a rookie racer who had been credited with third place. The ranking and trophy I had risked my life for were now in the hands of Claire, who hadn't even participated in the competition. I waited day after day until my injury was almost healed, the cast was removed, and I was discharged from the hospital, but I didn't see Leo visit me once! After being discharged from the hospital, I returned to the racing club accompanied by my best friend, Terrance. Outside Leo's private box, I overheard laughter and chatter inside. "Leo, you changed Yelena's registration and gave her ranking to Claire. Did she agree to that?" Leo leisurely picked up the glass in front of him and took a sip. "Agree? What can she do? If I tell her to go east, she wouldn’t dare head west. She's more obedient than a dog at home!" The people around him laughed along. "Exactly! Everyone in Washington knows what Yelena cares about most is being Mrs. Lucas." Leo looked down at the woman in his arms, a playful smile on his face as he brought the glass to Claire's lips, wanting to feed her a sip of wine. Claire blushed and playfully pushed him away. "Don't be like that!" She pretended to hit his chest with her fair hand, half-heartedly dodging. "Mr. Lucas, no!" In the end, the sip of wine was still fed to Claire mouth-to-mouth. She blushed and acted coquettishly. "Mr. Lucas, you're so naughty. You got me drunk, now I can't go back..." Leo kissed her face. "Go back where? Come home with me." Standing outside the door, I looked at the face I had loved so deeply. I clenched my fists and then released them, feeling utterly ridiculous. At this moment, someone mentioned, "Yelena is still injured. She broke her leg for that ranking. Didn't you visit her at the hospital?" Leo was indifferent, his tone frivolous. "Why would I? It's just a broken leg; she's not going to die!" I wouldn't die, but I couldn't go on living like this anymore. I pushed the door open and walked in. The room instantly fell silent. I strode over, picked up the wine in front of Leo, and splashed it on his face. Leo wiped the wine off his face, his face instantly darkening. "Yelena, there are limits to your tantrums!" Claire struggled out of his arms and hurriedly wiped his face with a tissue, her voice dripping with fake concern. "I'm sorry, Mr. Lucas. It's all my fault. I made Yelena misunderstand again. She's going to argue with you..." I didn't hold back either and rewarded her face with a glass of wine. Leo was furious. He slammed a folder onto the table. "You said your leg was broken, and here you are causing trouble. Yelena, I'll give you two choices: Sign this, or apologize to Claire!" How ridiculous! He even carried the divorce papers with him. I took them and gave them a quick glance. The content was nothing more than asking me to leave with nothing and give up any claim to his property. Leo arrogantly leaned on the sofa, a sneer playing on his lips. He seemed certain that in the next second, I would fearfully push the agreement away, and apologize to Claire, easily manipulated by him. I've had enough of this life. It's as if the six years I spent were wasted on a dog that I still haven't managed to train. I resolutely picked up a pen and signed my name. "Fine, since you're all here, be my witnesses. We'll go to the Civil Affairs Bureau for a divorce tomorrow morning. Don't stand me up." Leo's gaze fell on my signature, completely caught off guard by my willingness to sign. After a moment of stunned silence, he suddenly became fierce, gritting his teeth as he said, "Fine! Divorce then! Don't make me look down on you for it!"
