Later that evening, I departed from Mom after she and Pascual had made plans to eat out somewhere and watch a live spiritual show. After closing the door, I grabbed my phone and sent Brit a text telling her that I missed the way things had been before I’d caught her with David. She didn’t reply, so I figured she needed more time to process this as well. I wanted all of this to be less complicated. I didn’t want to be angry anymore.
