The Last Of Us

A storm has struck Silver Moon.  Everyone was at war with nature when a loud cry of a child was heard.  The once noisy pack halted to see where the child was.  They found her wrapped in a pink blanket inside a wooden bassinet under a shed near the Alpha's quarters.   Gasps, murmurings, whispers and questions can be heard everywhere.  No one from the near packs, covens, nor from their own had given birth to a child.  Besides, there is a storm so they can't fathom where the child came from and who could her parents be.  Why would they leave a poor baby at a time like that?  Alpha Wilhelm Fiore, together with Luna Marione his wife were one of the onlookers.  He saw longing in his wife's eyes.  'My Love.' she mind linked him.  'Yes love'  'Can we keep her?'  The request - he knew he can't deny his wife of.  They were mated for 3 decades and tried so much to have a pup but failed.  There seems to be no problem with both of them but, it just won't happen.  Now, an opportunity to have one is in front of them, his wife spared no time.  After the mind link, he didn't have the chance to respond for she's already made her way into the crowd and carried the child.  "From today on, until she meet her real parents, she'll be our child. She'll be known as Diana Hearth Foire." S She announced.  Everyone bowed down as she used her commanding voice.  And just like that, they had gained an additional member of the pack.  A blessing too.  Because after that day, the week long storm has passed and the world was a better place especially to the Fiore's who gained a princess who although is human in all forms but is an angel nonetheless.  Who could she be? Where could she possibly come from?
