“You brought that pain, yourself!” Troy’s response instantly made my whole world shatter.
‘What did I do wrong? Did I hear him right? What is he talking about?!’ Though Troy said it in a whispering manner, I was still able to hear it.
‘What is wrong with him today? This can't be happening, Troy is not like this. This might be just a nightmare,’’ I thought.
Despite the pain that I felt in my feet, I still pulled myself together and managed to stand and limped my way to him.
