CHAPTER FIFTEEN
When Troy and I were finally announced as husband and wife, some of Troy’s people were chanting for us to kiss.
I looked at Troy, shyly, yet showing him a hint to kiss me.
I gradually closed my eyes and put a light smile on my face, permitting him to give me a kiss.
Yet, moments passed and nothing happened. I opened my eyes to look at him. I was taken aback. He is not even looking at me.
‘Is he not going to kiss me? Is he searching for someone among the crowd? Was he searching for that woman?’’ I thought.
I wanted to look through the crowd as well but I was embarrassed and couldn’t face his people.
‘What is wrong with Troy today? Was that woman so attractive that he started forgetting about me? About us?’ I thought again.
