CHAPTER FOURTEEN
Before the wedding ceremony began, it was customary in Troy's culture that the bride and groom should meet below the arch and ask each other if they still wanted to continue the holy matrimony.
So, as soon as we met at the center, my eyes reddened with sadness. Remembering how Troy passionately kissed the woman completely broke my heart into pieces.
But I don't want to cry even if I want to because I also don't want Troy’s people to know that Troy is cheating on me. I know how much they trust and love Troy.
“Troy, do you still love me?” I asked with a broken voice.
