Chapter Four Collin gathered his horse's reins in his hands. The move signaled to the stallion that something was about to happen. Something was about to happen, something both man and beast needed. To run far and fast. Lifting up a little on his grounding strap, Collin squeezed his calves into Equus's side. The horse immediately got the message of Collin's signal. It picked up its pace, and they were off. The wind whipped Collin's hair. The fresh air sailed into his nostrils, helping to clear his mind. Only one thought intruded, and it was a welcome thought.
