“I’ll leave you girls to catch up. I’ll be back to check up on you Lia. Rest up.” Luca tells me before he turns away and I watch him leave the room. I pout, not wanting him gone but my focus turns to Alexandra when she talks.
“A lot’s happened since you were taken. Want to find out?” She asks me, her eyes sparkling with excitement and most likely joy at me not being dead. I chuckle, her excitement filling me with a bit of warmth.
