Jace tapped Kimberly's hand when she attempted to put it in her mouth. Her swollen eyes lifted to him for a sec then she looked down to the floor again. When her hand lifted for the hundredth time about to reach her lips, he grabbed it fast and held it down until it settled on the hem of her dress instead and started fidgeting, playing on the clothing like a child, afraid of being reprimanded.
He sighed. The expression on her pale was breaking him, and yet he couldn't stop looking at her, observing how she acted.
