The Devil With a Pretty Face

She wondered how it had come to this. After all she had gone through she had always believed that life gets better each and every second ,but now all that hope was lost. Life could not get worse than it already was. She was at the edge of her unknown self.  She sat at the beach by herself wishing that someone would be there to assure her that everything was gonna be alright. Her grandma had always told her that there is always a light in the darkness which she used to believe but now she knew that this darkness she was in had no end or even a sign of  light in it. She  knew that everything was at the end of it ,her life had been shattered into small pieces and scattered all over the world . She had always loved the beach, the waves and the cool breeze , but at this point all this did nothing to her compared to the pain she felt in her heart. Once the fresh air hit her nose it felt like someone was striking her weak lungs over and over. "How could they treat me like this? I am  still the same sweet girl who grew up in the town with them!" She wondered to herself. Tears rolled down her face when she remembered the memories she had made with her so called family, friends and most importantly her boyfriend. The memories of him were still raw inside her head; his strong arms, tall  stature, brown eyes, his handsome face and his radiant smile that melted her heart every time. She had always believed in him and his sweet words. "I don't care how you look Lora, but you will always be gorgeous and the most beautiful girl to me" he had said again and again assuring her that he'll always love her no matter what. "He had all reasons to be afraid of her now after what happened ,but no one should make promises they can't keep" She thought to herself. She remembered how he had looked at her with disappointment and then walked away without looking back as if it was her own fault she was not who he thought she was. She wasn't sure whether she was mad at him or she just hated him. She was so deep into her thoughts she did not realize it was getting dark and chilly at the beach, but anyway who cared. No one wanted anything to do with her or whatever it is she had become. She had been cast out of the town that she had called home since she was young and her family had disowned her. She had turned from a sweet pretty girl into an ugly ruthless monster. The people she had been living with turned out not to be her true family. "We are not your family!" They had told her where she cried to them for help when she was being thrown out of the town. How could they not be her family? She had lived with them as long as she could remember. Though she never really knew her parents, her grandmother always told her she died after giving birth to her. She knew now that it could have been a made-up lie. She had no reason to trust anyone anymore. She knew she is from a whole different kind of being. She did not not even know if she was human anymore or she was never ever a human. She was experiencing a strange thing that neither she or anyone knew anything about. She knew things would never be the same again which was a fact she was not ready to accept. Everything and everyone  was against her. All this was so unfair to her. She did not deserve this. No one deserve this. What had she done? Were the gods angry with her? She wished she could make a peace offering to them but she never believed in that kind of staff. A lot of questions were going through her already-tired mind. Could my parents be still alive? Where could they be? Do they know that i am no human? Why have they not come looking for me? Endless questions with no answers. She felt alone at this moment. She really wanted a hug from he grandmother, but her heart was full of hatred for her. For lying to her all her life and rejecting her when she needed her the most.
