Chapter Thirteen

In all my life that was the best birthday.I can't believe that my family and my friends had organised such a suprise for me.I was short of words especially when i saw my best friend who was here at last after 3 long months.I just couldn't believe it.Yes i was expecting her to come since she never misses my birthday but I've been trying to call her the whole day and she was out of reach.But now i can see why she had switched her phone off.After the party,my family went home and my dad allowed me to stay with Donah at Salm's since our home was too small to accommodate one more person.I was happy since in all the 3years I've known Donah we have never had a sleepover.She always comes early we spend the whole day together then she leaves for her home.But today was different and i was happy about  the whole arrangement.Salm was God sent to me.Since I met him everything has been going well for me.so when we were left alone just the three of us I ran up to him hugged him so tight,gave him a peck and said thank you.He seemed suprised about my action but i was glad he wasn't mad. I've started to really like this guy...So we chatted for a while with Donah while watching a movie.She told me about this boy she met and they've started going out.I was happy for her.Atleast one of us has started going out.She asked me if am seeing someone but i told her I've not but since she has a boyfriend I'll also find one too.We joked for a while and Salm brought us some coffee.Salm and Donah were getting along well.It was like they had meet before but Donah said that she has always been his fun but they've never met before.Bill and Amy who had gone out came back and we decided to watch one of Salm's  movie.So after choosing one among many we sat and watched.I must say he's really good at acting...After the movie we all went to our respective rooms to sleep.

That morning Salm came to wake us up.It was around 10am.We had overslept.After taking our bathe we found some outfits laid out for us.So after getting ready we went to have breakfast.Afterwards we helped Amy in the the kitchen and then went ahead to do some cleaning around the house.After we've completed everything we joined the boys in the living room.Salm told Donah that he had a suprise for her so we were excited and eager to see the suprise.Then there was a knock on the door and Salm went to open.There stood a handsome boy and when he saw Salm he seemed shocked at first.By the time he came to his senses we were already at the door and Donah was already hugging him.He hugged her back and Salm told Donah that he was the suprise he was talking about.Salm told her that he knew she was missing the boyfriend so he took the boy's number from Donah's phone and called to invite him.The guy couldn't believe he was seeing Salm in the flesh.Salm was really a celebrity.it seemed like i was the only one who didn't know him at first glance.Later the guy introduced himself as Jonas.So Salm told us since it was on a friday he planned that we'd all stay in doors and have fun the whole weekend.And since Donah would be bored he decided to invite the boyfriend though there was no monkey business during the stay.No misbehaving apart from Bill and Amy.So i also asked about me being without a boyfriend but he said he can act as my boyfriend until i got one.So after my issue was sorted we agreed and we started our fun weekend.We would eat watch movies play afew games and chat all day long.

Jonas asked Salm about her girlfriend and why he didn't come with her here.From there i came to know that Salm had a girlfriend who has also a famous actress called Kat.They were a famous couple and their fans used to call them "the power couple".Salm told us that they had broken up before he came to our town.He told us how the break up had affected him negatively but after coming to our town something happened that changed him completely.He said he was even glad that he broke up with Kat.He was glad he was a free man when he came here.So i wondered if he had meet someone else here.Bill and Amy seemed not to care about this topic but the 3 of us were curious.We tried pestering him to tell us about his new catch but the only thing he told us was everything will unveil in its own time.After trying hard to no avail to persuade him we gave up.It was past lunch time when we had our lunch.After lunch we went to watch some tv.In the evening my old man called to check up on me and reminding me to behave.Donah and Jonah seemed to be enjoying each others company and also Bill and Amy.So i was the only one feeling odd.But then Salm came and and embraced me in his arms and promise to act as the best boyfriend to me for the weekend.In his embrace i dosed off in the middle of the movie.I woke up after the movie had ended and i was still in his arms.The others were busy doing their thing.it was like they were in their own world.I had drooled all over him and that made me embarrassed.I tried to stand up but he tightened his hold.I must admit it felt good.I wondered if that is how it geels to be in your boyfriend's arm.You feel like you are in a safe haven and nothing can harm you.If i were Kat i wouldn't have broken up with such a man.Too bad he's much older than me but i pray when i get a boyfriend he would be like him..I thought to myself
