Aurora's POV
I make it three steps into the corridor before a hand closes around my wrist again.
"Aurora, wait." Logan's voice has changed completely, the anger draining out of it, replaced by something raw and pleading I haven't heard from him since before my left. "Please. Just wait."
"Let go of me."
"I've been a mess since you left. You have no idea." He pulls me back around to face him, his grip loosening even as his voice tightens. "I can't do this without you. I can't run that pack, raise our son, live in that house, none of it, not without you in it. Do you really not care? After everything we built together?"
