She woke up

"Edwin........ She........ She woke up" she sounded stressed.

I jumped out of the bed.

"what is happening there ?" I asked, but the call disconnected suddenly with a sound, like the phone fell down from her hand.

I called her back, but it couldn't connect.

I wanna know, What the hell is happening there.

I called Alex immediately, and send him there, to see what is going on.

I was restless then. Rose said she woke up. This thought increased my blood pressure.

I shouldn't come here.

I should be there when she woke up. What should I do now? I was thinking while fidgeting across the room.

After a while, I decided to meet dad early and leave soon. I took bath and get ready to go to the office.

When I went to the office. dad was in his cabin, I entered without a knock and..... The second shock of the day..

Carter was sitting on the chair, in front of my dad. That made me halt in my steps.

What the hell is he doing here now.

"Edwin," my dad said with a shock.

Carter turned around. when he saw me. The colour of his face faded away and a shadow of terror spread all over him, as he wasn't expecting me there.

It makes me feel a little better. I like it when people are terrorized by me, especially the bad ones.

"Good morning Mr Williamson," he said in order to hide his fear and pretend to be normal.

I totally ignored him. And turned towards dad.

"We supposed to meet at the lunch" dad said.

"I am leaving early. We have to talk right now." I replied.

"Well. This is also a good thing. Mr Carter and I were just talking about, what happened between you both and I suggest, you should sort it out right now." dad said simply. as He still didn't know about the girl.

"Sure" I said, while taking a seat in front of Carter.

He was looking at me with fear and anger both at the same time.

"Mr Carter is guilty for his behaviour, and also ready to forget, what you did to him" dad was speaking, while I was staring right at Carter and he was trying his best to avoid the eye contact.

"All you have to do is, just give him back, what you took from him," dad said, which made my eyes turn to him.

I knew it. this bloody fat swine was making strategies to take the girl back. But he didn't know that no one can snatch anything from me, without my will.

He gave me a smirk of victory, as he saw that, neither I can tell dad about the girl, nor refuse his order. In both situations, I am gonna lose her. I took some time before speak, as I need something, which can totally convince dad in a single shot.

"I am waiting Edwin," dad said with a strict tone.

"Dad. I totally appreciate Mr Carter's gesture. But once I get something, I never give it back. and you know that"

"But that is mine," Carter said loudly.

"No, it's not," I said even louder.

Then I turned to dad softly.

"He only chose that. But I paid for that. Now that's mine." I explained.

"you said it was yours, but you didn't even buy that?" dad said to Carter.

"I..... Was...." carter stuttered.

Then I stood up in my place.

"You know dad, once a Williamson want something, no one can take that thing from him. This is about our pride now." I said while placing both hands in my pockets.

This thing always works on dad. His name, his reputation is important for him, more than anything else. Now, he will not allow anyone to say anything.

Dad was looking convinced. And carter was shivering in anger.

" May I go now. " I asked. Dad nodded.

I was just about to exit the room when dad asked.

"By the way son, what was the thing, this is all about? "

I looked at Carter, who has sweat on his forehead. Now it's my turn to send him a winning smirk.

"Ask him, dad. He'll tell you" I said and left the cabin.

I know, he can't tell anything to dad. He is not that stupid.

After that short meeting with dad. I went to the airport directly. I called Daniel in order to tell him. He Insisted me to stay, but I refused. I was calling Alex again and again but he was not answering.

Is there any signal jammer in the mansion. why can't anyone pick up the god damn phone there.

My brain couldn't stop thinking, about, what would happen there. That journey seemed the longest journey of my life. It felt like it will take forever.

Somehow, I reach home, without exploding my brain.

When I reach there, everything seemed quiet. No noises were there like I heard on the phone before.

I stepped inside and saw Alex in the living room. He was looking horrible while slouching on the sofa, apparently napping.

I call his name, and he jumped out of the sofa in shock.

"Edwin !! "

Alex

Edwin went to Newyork yesterday, and I have to take care of the office today. I was just about to leave for the office when Edwin called me. He told me to go to his home. He sound perplexed. I assured him and left for his home.

When I went there. I heard noises coming from inside. I stepped inside hurriedly. those sounds coming from the guest bedroom. When I went to the door of the room, I was dumbfounded by the scene. The room was in total chaos.

The girl was standing on the bed with a table lamp in her one hand, she was shouting like crazy. Her long hairs were all over her face. She looked devastated. Everything was scattered there. The room was filled with all servents, guards and nurses, even the doctor was also standing in one corner of the room. It seemed like all of them were trying to control her. I froze on my place for a second, by the view, in front of my eyes. Then I composed myself and said.

"what the hell is going on here."

The minute I said that the girl noticed me and the next thing I know is, she threw the lamp on me while yelling something.

Thanks to Rose, who pulled me out of the door at the last minute.

"What's going on here? " I asked her.

She took me to the kitchen, in order to avoid the noises, coming from the room.

Then she told me the whole story that how the girl woke up. And became restless. She was thinking that we are her captors. She is confused and want to run away. But we can't let her go, at least not before Edwin come back. He will kill me if she flies away.

Now, I was in trouble. Edwin wants her here. And she was trying to run. How can I hold her here? She is not ready to listen anything. Rose tried to convince her, but she was insane. All the guards and nurses were tired and scared also.

When we were frustrated and all our efforts to convince her were failed.

Then the doctor suggested, that either we have to tie her forcefully or we can give her a sedative.

And I was agreed on both.

We discussed and decided to give her a normal sedative, which won't be harmful to her.

Then the real war had begun, when she noticed that we were getting closer and trying to grab her. she was more alert. she was as aggressive as a drunken bull. after an hour of restless efforts, we succeed to grab her and give her the sedative. One nurse, two guards and almost all the servants got hurt by her, in the process. then we tied her hands and both legs to the bed. In order to avoid further troubles, if she woke up again.

It took the whole day an I was hell tired and hungry because of all this mess. I told Rose to give me something to eat. She went to the kitchen and I sat on the sofa in the living room, I was so tired, that I didn't realise when I dozed off there.

I woke up when someone call my name. I open my eyes and saw Edwin, standing in front of me.

I jumped out of the sofa in shock, as I wasn't expecting him that early.

"Why are you sleeping here," he asked while standing in front of me.

I didn't reply as I was still in shock.

Rose showed up from the kitchen after hearing his voice.

"Thank god you are home," she said in relief.

"What happened here? Not a single person was taking my calls," he said while looking around, as he felt the awkwardness in the mansion.

"Edwin, have a seat first" I let him sit on the sofa.

Then I told him everything, with the help of Rose.

"What !!!" he shouted.

"you knew, what those bloody sedatives have done to her before. Still, you did that to her." he stood up from the sofa furiously.

"She was out of control, Ed. We didn't have any choice" I tried to explain.

"You did the same thing, those criminals did to her, what makes you different from them" he was filled with anger.

"We did that to save our asses from that murderous girl." I retorted in a firm tone while standing up from the sofa as well.

"Look at us, Ed. You think we didn't try" I pointed toward and Rose I both. He seemed convinced as we both were looking devastated.

his eyes turned soft.

"It took a whole village to control her," I said, while he was looking at me confused.

"That was not easy to control her. It took all our energy to keep her here.

She would definitely run away if we didn't do that." Rose spoke up.

"She is totally insane," I said.

Which again make him angry.

"Listen, Ed. Doctor also said that it can be possible.

The trauma of being kidn*pped and the long time effect of drugs can disturb her mental health." I told him while placing a hand on his shoulder.

He stared at me in return.

"You didn't see, what we did. It totally makes sense" I explained.

"I'll see that on my own," he said in a cold tone.

"I bet you will" I replied and

Rose and I both look toward each other with worried faces.

Then he left to his room.

I came to my room before my head burst out.

I don't know what to say or do.

I wanted her awake so desperately. She woke up when I wasn't here and now I am here, but she is sleeping again.

My patience is losing its edges.

I will keep an eye on her on my own.

I'll be there until she wakes up again.

I went to the bathroom to freshen up. after that, I ran downstairs. The room was open. servents were busy cleaning up the mess. The room was really chaotic. I stepped inside. She was laying on the bed. I went closer.

She was looking different.

Her face was not as pale as before, her lips were soft and those cuts and bruises were also healing. She was looking like a mess. Her hair was all over the place.

I removed some strands of hair from her face to have a clear look. How calm she looks while sleeping. Then I saw ropes around her hands and legs. I removed all of those. Red prints of ropes were visible on her skin.

Why did they do that, while she was already unconscious.

I took out of my thoughts when a nurse came to check her.

I asked her, that when she could wake up again. She told me to wait till the next morning.

I sighed . And again stared towards her.

I'll not move from here till then.

After that, I fixed myself in the room. I had my dinner in there and took my laptop, to check some business stuff.

When the night fall. I slept on the couch only.

It's after midnight when I heard some sounds. I woke up, to check that sound. Then I saw someone standing in the dark. I didn't recognise, but someone was there in the room.
